His soul piercing stares. His words are worth a thousand words.

Laying on the bed face to face with your boyfriend, faces only millimeters apart, foreheads almost touching , so close, yet so far. You wanted to reach out for him, but he was just so far... too far beyond your reach.

You stare at his majestic image, his eyes closed, that stern expression still plastered on his face, his lips in a straight line, and his usual earphones on, music playing. The silence of the night engulfing the room the two of you shared.

Of course silence shared a big part of your relationship. Obviously, your man wasn't much of a talker. Mostly he was a listener of you, only looking at you with a blank expression on his face as you talk. Then grunting afterwards. That was that.

Your hand reached up to his cheek, you wanted to touch him so badly, but a feeling in your gut said that you shouldn't. Before you can create the small contact, your hand falls back to it's original place, and instead, you hug the spare blanket closely to yourself.

Sighing at the failed attempt. You continued to stare. Yes, Kuki Urie was a hard man to put up with, he was the epitome of perfect in your eyes, he was so dominant, so superior, compared to you. The thought of him being your significant other alone, amazed everybody in the whole CCG. It was amazing how a softhearted woman like you tamed the great Kuki Urie.

You can't stop but feel the inferiority. That maybe you weren't enough, that maybe he just can't leave you out of pity. That what if one of these days, he would wake up, opening his eyes and realizing, you are not enough and just like that he would be out the door.

You bit your lip as you forced your eyes shut, hugging the blanket closer. You wanted to scoot closer, to close the gap, but the fear wouldn't make your body budge. You tried to steady your breathing, attempting to push away the thoughts and sleep.

A minute or so, you give up on trying. Opening your eyes again, adjusting to the dark environment of your lightless room. You found your eyes staring directly into his orbs. The silence was still there, and you do nothing but stare into each other's eyes.

Gathering up all your strength you reach up to his cheek. Your hand shaking with the nervousness gathered in the pit of your stomach. Your thumb tracing those two moles under his left eye, in tiny infinite circles.

His face seemed unfazed by your actions. His expression remains. You bit your lip as you looked down, finally releasing the touch of his skin against your palm, but before you could even drop your hand, his warm hand captures yours, keeping it in place.

"Don't...." he whispers. His breath tickling your face. His eyes never leaving yours.

You took a deep breath, closing your eyes in the process. "I...." you started to whisper, but too hesitant to continue, heat crawling up your cheeks.

"I... I love you Urie..." you finally continued. Keeping your eyes closed, hoping he would reply a single I love you too or his usual grunt. Just so you had a hint in what he was even thinking.

A soft, moist flesh had made contact with your lips. It was him. It was intended as shy kiss at first, but as you gasped due to surprise, his tounge had its way, exploring your cavern, as if mapping everything into memory. His hand that was once holding your hand travelled to your chin, holding you into place.

Breaking for air. He then again stared at you.

His stare conveying a simple answer.

His own version of "I Love You Too".
