Taken

Chapter Three: Dinner

As we were called out to dinner, the Elian girl took off her headphones and went into the dinning room. Lilly followed, but as Raylin tried to follow, I grabbed her arm.

"Hey Raylin...At dinner just sit by me. Okay?" I said softly.

She nodded as we left the bedroom. We went down the hall, which had many pictures. One of every person who was here I'm assuming. I brushed my fingers against the wooden wall, but stopped and tried to act normal when I got into everyone's site.

When we got there I could see that there were about 4 more empty seats. Raylin and I quickly grabbed the only two seats that were side by side. There were two seats left. One beside me and another across the table.

About 5 minuits later, Elian and Lilly walked in. Elian walked up to me, and stared down at me as Lilly took the seat across the table.

"Can I help you?" I asked sarcastically.

"This is were I sit. Move." Elian said coldly.

"Look, it's a seat, get over it. It's sad that your attached to a seat." I rolled my eyes.

"Alright, fine," she tossed her hair over her shoulder, and then walked to the last seat available.

A chef brought spaghetti that was in blue bowls on the table, along with soda, water and non-caffinated tea.

As we ate, no one said a word. The silence broke when I heard a guy say, "I'm sorry Thia! It was an accident!" He was obviously lying, I could tell by his smile. He was sitting across from a blonde girl with blue eyes who wore a crop top and a high skirt. It must be in style.

The guy was black, and he had brown eyes and short black hair. He wore a black shirt with sweat pants. It must be his sleeping attire.

I sighed as the spaghetti got passed to me. I only put a spoon full on, and then passed it on. I began picking at my food until I felt so thing slimy and gross hit my chest.

I looked down to see spaghetti on my chest. Big suprise. It's not a big deal though so I just wiped it off and went on with my dinner.

Suddenly, Elian yelled, "Food fight!" And everyone began throwing things everywhere. Raylin and I just sat back.

That's when I felt somthing ice cold fall down on my head. It felt like pebbles were falling down my head as well. I immediately jumped up and let out a gasp. I turned around to see Elian with a piture of empty water. Everyone became silent.

"What?" She asked innocently. "Food fight, right?" She smiled.

I was humiliated. I grabbed some napkins, then said, "Yeah. Food fight." I smiled and dumped a cold piture of soda on her, then walked to my bedroom to get a towel, and pajamas. I went into the bathroom to dry off and change. I heard yelling in the other room, but just let it be.

By the time I finished, it was lights out, (I stayed in a bit longer because I didn't want to come out.) I went to my room down the hall, and walked in. Raylin, Lilly and Elian were all asleep. I didn't want to be by her, so I grabbed my pillow, blanket and phone, then walked out into the front room to sleep on the couch. Once I set my alarm, I layer on the couch and got under the blankets. I rested my head on a pillow, then closed my eyes.

If I thought this was bad, I should wait for tomarow. The next day...I have to go to school...
