Rivers POV~~~
As I walked into the cooking class I was in complete shock. My jaw dropped to the floor as I stared at a smiling Alex. Damnit.I slowly walked down and sat next to him, "Are you following me?"
I stared forward, though out of the corner of my eye I could tell a smile played across his face. "No," he began. "But I don't think you would mind if I did."
I sighed softly agian as people began spilling into the room. We began class, but all we did was read through cook books. Raylin wasn't in this class. I doubted we would have any classes together. Halfway through the class I noticed a man wearing a black suit walk in. Everyone else continued reading but I couldn't help but to watch him.
My teacher for cooking was named Mrs. Renalds. She was a woman in her late fourties and wore a laid back look. She approached the man as they began whispering things. This raised my suspicion as they both looked at me, then nodded. I guessed I wasn't the only one to notice.
"What's they're deal?" Alex asked, looking at me with his soft brown eyes.
I tried to shrug it off. "I'm not sure."
Class ended and the rest of my classes seemed to fly by. As I got onto the bus I looked around for Raylin, but didn't see her, "She must be walking or something." I whispered to myself.
The bus turned into the dirt road as I noticed Judy waiting out there for me. At least that's what I thought. I haven't noticed it but there were now only 3 other students on the bus. As the bus stopped outside of the house I was staying at, the three got off the bus. I noticed it was Demetry, Elain, and Dylan. I still haven't seen Raylin.
We got off and I was approached by Judy. "Hello dear, I'm so sorry but..." she hesitated, "Here, come inside and take a seat."
She lead me inside as I took a seat down on the brown couch. Just as I was getting use to things and calmed down a bit, the next words she spoke made my jaw drop, "Raylin has been adopted. It was decided today around 12 o'clock. I tried to tell her to take you as well but sadly, she only took Raylin."
I didn't cry, or yell, or anything else. No, I got up and went to my bedroom. I began packing my bag agian. I'm not running away. I'm going to find my sister.
