"None of your business, asshole." Gab said. Pumaginting ang tenga ni Terrence sa sinabi nito. Right now, he wants to wring her lovely neck. At 23 years of existence, he definitely reaches the peak of success without any help. He is a well-respected business tycoon at a very young age. He owned major stocks in every well-known company you can name. He also own an Electronics and Mobile company that started from the bottom. He doesn't brag it to anyone and only her mother and Tito Gerard knew that. And now, this young little lady is calling him an asshole. He works hard to earn respect and this what he get?
Tumalikod na ito at nagsimula na muling maglakad papalayo.
"Turn around princess and walk your ass down the villa's lounge. Pinapatawag ka ng daddy mo." He said loud enough to startle her.
"Soph, guys. All of you, pumunta na kayo sa lounge, lunch is ready."
Nagsialisan agad ang magpipinsan. Nag-unahan pa ang mga ito sa papuntang villa.
Great, now it's me and him. Sa isip ni Gab. Naglakad na rin pabalik ng hotel si Gab but Terrence remain standing kung nasaan ito kanina. And he's blocking her way.
"Move." Gab said.
"Not yet." He grab her hand and drag her papunta sa pool area. No one is around there probably because it's lunch time.
"What the fuck! Let go of me, jerk!" Pabalang na binitawan nito si Gab. "What the hell do you want?!"
"Ow, there's the little devil inside you. Now, listen carefully princess. I know what type of devil you are. Don't do anything stupid to ruin my mom's wedding. Matagal na akong nagtitimpi sa pagrerebelde mo. You rejected my mom's kindness towards you and even rejected everything your father did to you. Everyone wants to move on, princess. We don't want to be stuck with the hell you've been staying at."
Hell. Yes, I've been staying there since the incident happen. I know, nobody wants to be there with me.
Tumingin sya sa mga mata ng lalaki. Nakita ni Terrence ang pagbabago sa kislap ng mga nito. Wrong, it's like I'm staring at a pair of dead eyes.
"Thanks for the idea, kuya." Nilampasan siya nito. At naglakad na papuntang hotel.
At Villa's Lounge
"Oh, Terrence, anak. Bakit ang tagal mo?" Tanong ni Sandy sa panganay niya. "Teka, akala ko kasama mo si Gabrielle?"
"Let him sit first, hon. Take a seat Terrence." Ma-autoridad na wika ni Gerard. Terrence obliged. He doesn't like it when someone commands him but Gerard earned his trust.
"Where is Gabrielle, Rence?" Her mom, asked again.
"I don't know mom, akala ko nauna na siya dito. Baka po bumalik sa kwarto niya. Pwede ko po siyang tawagin ulit." Akma itong tatayo ng magsalita si Gerard.
"No iho, kumain ka na. Kilala mo naman iyon. Padadalhan ko na lang ng pagkain sa kwarto niya."
"Paimportante." Sophia murmured. Terrence glares at her sister. Sophia just smiles back apologetically.
Her mom and her sister is the most important person in his life. He will never let anyone to hurt them. And he will get everything just to make them happy. Sophia may seem like a spoiled brat, she may be sometimes, especially around Gab, pero mabait ito. Nangugulila lamang ito sa ama kaya nang makilala nito si Tito Gerard she doesn't want anyone to destroy her new found happiness.
Gab may feel like they stolen her family but he knew that Tito Gerard loves his mother to death. He never saw her mother that happy when she and Tito Gerard finally get together. He may be harsh to Gab kanina pero alam nitong she loved her mother just like he loves Sandy kaya hindi malayong gumawa ito ng kalokohan na makakasira sa kasalang dapat maganap two weeks from now.
Masayang natapos ang lunch nila. Maybe, its right na hindi na nakisali sa pagkain dito si Gabrielle. Maa-out-of-place lang ito. I knew that everyone liked Sophia simply because she's jolly and full of life unlike Gabrielle and we all knew how they like each other.
Gabi na ng naisipang lumabas ni Gab sa kwarto niya. She just drowns herself into music the whole afternoon. Immune na yata ang sikmura niya sa gutom kaya ngayon niya lang ito naramdaman. Tiningnan niya ang wrist watch niya.
8:05pm
Marahil tapos na ang dinner nila. Narinig niya ang mga ito sa garden. Psh. They probably asking Sandy and her dad their love story. She appears to be the sole loser now dahil hindi niya magawang maging masaya para sa daddy niya. She felt her heart ached a little. Pain runs through her veins. Flashes of lighting and rolling thunders became vivid from her mind.
The incident.
Her head hurts like it wanted to explode. Water. She slowly went to villa's kitchen. Umiikot ang paningin niya ngunit nakarating parin siya sa kusina ng villa. Walang tao dito. Good. She doesn't want anyone seeing her like that.
She can't see any glass, marahil nasa garden. Lumapit na lamang siya sa water faucet at binuksan. Direktang uminom dito si Gab. The pain is still there, hindi pa siya nakuntento ay tinapat na niya ang kanyang ulo sa faucet. She felt the cold water run down her face from her head. Vivid images of the incident suddenly disappear ng may marinig siyang boses.
"Wala bang tubigsa kwarto mo at dyan sa lababo mo balak maligo?" Walang pakundangang wikani Terrence.
