When in Paris... (slow updates)

5: Back in Paris...

Three years have passed since Lily and BTS were together. They continued to talk after their last concert, especially Taehyung and Lily. It consisted of texts, calls, and FaceTimes.

With the two years of COVID, Lily had time to work on her stories, get noticed, and work on her videography skills. Today was the day of Lily's first day as producer/director. Excited was an understatement, but nervous matched her perfectly. She walked into the huge studio building, "Pull yourself together Lily, you've been waiting for this day."

She walked around a bit to look at the equipment and props, then made her way to the room where the actors/actresses will be meeting. First thing to do was a table read, which is always fun. Not that Lily would know just yet. Lily saw the tables set up with the script and name cards for each actor/actress.

It was difficult finding the right people, especially the leading actress, but with help she found them. The male lead was entrusted to her executive producer.(A/N: The movie and actors are random so I won't be writing too much about it. Just important info needed to flow with the story) One by one they arrived: Gal Gadot, Ryan Reynolds, Robert Downey Jr., and Lily Collins (lead).

"Hello everyone I am Lily Park. As you already know, I am the producer/director of this film and I am very grateful you have joined my crew and I. We will have a fun time and enjoy ourselves. So let's get started by simply introducing yourselves to one another. Which isn't needed considering your all well-known, but still nice to be polite."

Each one made their introduction quickly but before they could start on the table read, Ryan had spoken, "Quick question, who is the main lead?"

"Good question Ryan, I have entrusted him to my executive producer. He has told me he'd be here any minute now, I believe his flight was delayed."

Not a moment later, as Lily finished talking, the door opened to reveal the one and only, Kim Taehyung.

Four hours flew by and they were all finished. Lily was grateful to be working with many professionals since the table read went smoothly. Again, one-by-one they left except for Taehyung who wanted to talk.

"I can't believe you and my EP didn't tell me! Do you know how shocked I was to see you enter?"

"I think your face was like this," Taehyung imitated a deer in headlights making Lily laugh, "but seriously though, I'm excited to be a part of the team."

"I am too. It'd be nice to see a friendly face. So how do you feel after today?"

"I was very nervous but I think I did pretty good."

"Well you should because you did it very well. And you improved your English which I'm proud of!"

"Well I had a great teacher." Taehyung winked at her which Lily rolled her eyes to. The two friends left the building together and continued to talk. "I thought you'd be busy with your schedule? Don't you have an album to work on?"

"Yes but I've done my parts on songs and such. I just have photoshoots to do and all but my manager has worked it out with the others so my schedule with you doesn't collide with them."

"Alright then, but I hope you take it easy okay? Considering you'd have to fly back and forth a lot."

"I'll take care of myself as long as you do the same."

They separated ways as Taehyung had to go back to Korea to do photoshoots. Lily was worried about his schedule and how stressed he'd be but knew she couldn't show it being the producer/director. So she made her way back to her office and made a call with BTS' manager and the others, to discuss scheduling.

After a long day, Lily was relieved to be back home and take a nice hot shower. Afterwards she warmed up some leftovers and began her FaceTime call with Jungkook.

"Lily!"

"Kookie!"

"Please tell me you're not having leftovers again."

"What if I am?"

"I swear, when I come visit you we are going grocery shopping."

"Even if we do that, who says I'll be cooking."

Jungkook sighed, "You're unbelievable. Anyways, did you like the surprise?"

"You mean Taehyung? Of course! I was so surprised to see him like out of all people, I wouldn't have thought of him to be my leading man in the movie."

"Yeah hyung was so excited, not only to see you but to be a part of the movie. He also told us about the rest of the cast and I'm so jealous! I want to be in it too Lily~" Jungkook pouted making Lily laugh at his childishness.

"We'll have to see Jungkook. Maybe I could get you a minor role. Oh by the way, I really hope Taehyung takes care of himself. I didn't realize his schedule would be busy with your album coming up."

"Don't worry we'll take care of him. Plus I know he wouldn't want to worry you so I'm sure hyung will be okay."

"I hope so. So what about -"

"Yah Jeon Jungkook! What did you do with my toothbrush?" Yoongi screamed from somewhere making the two friends laugh.

"Uh nothing hyung!" Lily knew he was up to no good so she sat silently and watch the scene unfold.

Yoongi came in, not seeing Lily on the screen, and began to rant to Jungkook about using his own toothbrush and not others. Yoongi somehow made it a long rant that Lily had to unmute herself and laugh making the yeller realize the two weren't alone.

"Yah Jungkook! I can't believe you used his toothbrush."

"Oh hi Lily! I'm sorry you had to hear that but obviously our dongsaeng needs to learn a lesson. So what should we do about it?"

"Well Yoongi, I think we could come up with something clever. Actually you can do that on your own, you're more than capable to do it."

"You're right Lily. You better watch out Jungkook." Yoongi walked backwards towards the door and eyed Jungkook but then happily waved by to Lily before he closed the door. 

The two laughed from the incident and continued to talk until late that night. They bid goodnight to each other and Lily laid down in bed thinking. She was glad to hear they're all still doing well and the upcoming album is actually almost done. She assumed it wasn't but it eased her worries about Taehyung.

Soon enough, Lily dozed off thinking of tomorrow's schedule.
