When in Paris... (slow updates)

8: Date Night in Paris...

After what happened, Lily and Taehyung felt more comfortable with each other than before. Evening came by a lot quicker than they wanted to, but it was getting to the best part of the date. Which Taehyung was very excited to show Lily.

After their private romantic dinner, Taehyung took her to a rooftop, with permission of course. The rooftop was decorated with string lights, a couch with some blankets and pillows, along with some snacks and wine. It was in front of the river where they had a gorgeous view of the Eiffel Tower.

"Taehyung this is so beautiful! When did you have the time to decorate this?"

"Well I had some help from Robert hyung and Ryan hyung. They were nice enough to help me put it together."

"That's so sweet of them, I'll have to thank them later."

Lily approached the edge of the roof to look below, she didn't have a fear of heights so being close to the edge was nothing bad for her. But Taehyung, he was surprised to see her getting so close to the edge. He wasn't scared either but he was more along the lines, worried for her safety.

"Lily, come here." He pulled out his camera and began to take pictures of her with the monument in the background. More pictures were taken, the darker it got, "Okay stand still."

Taehyung set his phone up on a stand, courtesy of Robert, with the timer on, he hurried to stand next to her. He had it on video and he timed it perfectly where the lights lit on the Eiffel Tower. As soon as the lights turned on, he grabbed her hand and spun her around. 

Lily giggled at his actions which she thought was cute, then he kissed her cheek. Which caught her completely off guard. Taehyung was laughing at her cuteness and enveloped her in a hug, which she gladly reciprocated. They stood there looking at the tower, the scenery, and just feeling comfy in each others arms. 

"Taehyung thank you for this amazing date. It has been the best one I've been on."

"You're very welcome Lily. Just know, this won't be the only amazing date."

"Well who says I'll go on a second date with you?"

"You."

"Really now?"

"Really."

Taehyung looked down at her with a longing gaze, Lily looked up at him with a loving gaze. He wanted to just kiss her right there and then, but knew it was too soon. The cheek was enough for them as they want to take things slow. Figure things out and learn of where the other stands before taking the next step.

They sat down on the couch and Taehyung covered themselves with the blanket. They began to talk about the movie and what's to come next, along with the fact they're aware of their feelings for each other.

"I can't wait to go to work."

"Why?"

"Because I can do this," he gave her a kiss on the cheek again making Lily laugh, "and so everyone knows that you're taken."

"As much as I love this, I'm not taken though."

Taehyung's face fell and he began to worry, "What do you mean?"

Lily smiled so he knew not to be too worried, "I mean, you have not officially asked me to be your girlfriend. So I am not yours." 

Taehyung looked at her with a relief, "Oh that's it? Okay don't worry then. You'll be mine, soon." He squeezed her playfully and wrapped his arms tighter around her, she snuggled closer to him where she could hear his heartbeat.

It was getting late and they only knew that because the Eiffel Tower's lights turned off. They began to clean up but left everything as it was since Ryan told Taehyung not to worry about the things.

Taehyung took her to her apartment and they stopped outside her door. It was a bit awkward at first but Taehyung broke it by giving her a hug. 

"Goodnight Lily. I really hope you had fun with me today."

"I did Taehyung don't worry. I'll hold you onto that second date you mentioned." She grinned at him and they kissed each other's cheeks goodnight.
