When in Paris... (slow updates)

7: Date in Paris...

Saturday couldn't come any sooner for both Lily and Taehyung were excited. Lily had help from Gal and Collins that morning, who were both eager to do so. Ryan and Robert talked to Taehyung about certain things, but they couldn't say much considering they didn't know Lily until recently.

"In the end, just be yourself around her. She'll love you for that." Robert said as he looked at himself in the mirror. 

Taehyung stood outside the door of Lily's apartment, which was opened by Gal. "Hey Taehyung come on in. Lily is getting something upstairs then she'll be down."

"Thank you Gal."

"So how are you feeling?" Collins approached him with two glasses of water for him and Gal. 

"Nervous but excited. Well I think excited really. The nervous part was asking."

Gal took a sip of her water, "Good, you shouldn't be nervous. You're just going out with Lily. Someone you've known for some time." 

The three got silent as they heard Lily come down the steps in her boots. Taehyung watched her and thought she looked so beautiful in her outfit. At the last step, the two met and Taehyung held his hand out for her which she thought was cute of him to do.

"Alright you two, you better behave. No funny business okay?" Gal teased and Collins added on, "Make sure to find a secluded area okay?"

Everyone left Lily's apartment and the two began their date.

"So Taehyung, what should we do?"

"Well that is for me to know and you to just enjoy. Don't worry I have it all planned out."

"Oh really now? I'm excited." 

Taehyung took her to a famous cafe for breakfast. He made a reservation ahead of time so they had a seat outside on the balcony that had a gorgeous view of not only the Eiffel Tower, but also the Arc de Triomphe. The business of the city went by and yet the two felt they were in their own world; talking and having fun with each other's presence.

After breakfast, they took a stroll at a park where children were playing games, couples and artists sitting on the benches watching life happen. Taehyung also brought his camera to take pictures which he knew she'd cherish. 

The two found a quiet spot in the park to talk for a bit before they headed off for lunch, "How come you wanted to go on a date with me?"

"The question should be why wouldn't it be you."

"I assumed you'd go for someone in your field since it'd be easier or something like that."

"You mean someone who was an idol like me?" Lily nodded silently as she watched a group of friends walk by, talking about their grades. "I can understand why you'd think it'd be easier but that just depends on who I like. And right now, I like you Lily..."

She looked at him with wide eyes, "What?"

"I've liked you for awhile. I've wondered when it started, Jimin thinks it's when we met at the concert, which he could be right. Or maybe it was when I first saw you at the coffee shop that night."

"Wow, you remember that?"

"Of course. You were the only girl sitting outside at that time. Jin hyung and I saw you and I was the one to suggest we sit there next to you. I took glances at you and saw you writing in your journal and I wanted to talk to you when we saw each other in the elevator but I was too shy."

Lily looked at Tae in awe, "I just can't believe you remember that. I forgot about that night until you mentioned it."

"I'm hurt, you forgot when we first met."

"I mean, you didn't really talk to me in the elevator. So I do remember Jin more."

"Hey! You know you remember me, you couldn't stop staring once I said who I was."

"Well...you're right. You know you're handsome, good."

"Of course, I hear it all the time from my members and everyone else." Taehyung wasn't happy nor sad, but indifferent when he said that. Making Lily realize there are still more things she has to learn about this wonderful man sitting next to her.

For lunch, they went to a casual diner as the two aren't ones for fancy things 24/7. They sat at a booth and Lily took a photo of Taehyung as he sat at the corner and posed. (A/N: Think of the IG post Tae shared while he was in Paris, y'all know which booth pic I'm talking about lol)

After lunch, Taehyung took Lily to a museum which she enjoys going to. She's always been fascinated by the past, which is probably why she loves Paris as the looks of the city is like the past. The two enjoyed their time but then it got crowded as some visitors were fans and leaked on Twitter of Taehyung's locations.

"I'm sorry we had to leave earlier than planned." They found themselves in a secluded area, away from the busy streets so they could compose themselves after running so far.

"Don't worry about it Tae. I haven't been chased out of a museum before by fans so it was kind of fun."

They laughed as they realized what they did, usually Taehyung doesn't run since he's with bodyguards all the time but this time it was only him. Instead of him being protected, he had to protect someone else giving him a new perspective on things.

They leaned against the wall as they heard a loud group of girls approaching. Taehyung didn't think so he stood in front of Lily with his arm up acting as a shield. Lily felt her face get very hot and tried to push her self closer to the wall. Looking everywhere but his eyes, Taehyung was looking at her, taking mental notes and screenshots of her features.

Her long eyelashes, the golden specks in her eyes which he'd see when she glanced up quickly, the freckles that have been covered with some light makeup. He placed a finger under chin so she could face him, which she obliged. 

Looking into each others eyes, Lily felt herself going upwards and closing her eyes. Taehyung saw and knew what she was thinking but he thought of something else. Once he saw her close her eyes, he backed away and stood in front of her with an innocent look.

After a few seconds Lily knew it wasn't coming so she opened her eyes and saw him looking at her, "Are you ready?" Lily felt embarrassed and flustered, she nodded silently and walked ahead of him.

Taehyung was internally laughing, thinking it was cute how she acted. He let her calm down a bit before he caught up with her and grabbed her hand, interlocking fingers. He bent down a bit and whispered in her ear, "I want to do it too, but that part doesn't come until the date is done."

Lily finally calmed herself down only to feel herself get red again and even more flustered. Oh the things this man will do to me...
