10: The Solution in Paris...

"Are you serious?" Gal said with a straight face.

"I mean it's not a bad idea but now that I think about it some more... I shouldn't have jumped the gun on it." Lily sat dejected in realization that she won't be allowed to freely date Taehyung. 

On the phone...

"Hello? Jungkook? What's going on?"

"Noona I heard everything from hyung. Are you okay?"

"I'm alright but do you know what Tae is planning? I asked him and he said to leave everything up to him which is worrisome."

"I understand but I think hyung has a great plan in mind. I won't say anything but I think you'll agree with it."

"Jungkook you better tell me. I am not going to wait any longer over here being worried and then get sick and then go to the hospital and then -"

"Okay okay! Calm down. Gosh...so hyung is planning to simply continue dating you. Just in secret."

"That's it? We've already been doing that but we were caught!"

"Well now it's more of a deep secret. He's talking to our manager right now about it and I think they were saying something about having you two with staff all the time. So if you're out then a staff is with you."

"And with that, we'd be able to go out?"

"Yeah I think so. It's not a bad plan right? You guys can still see each other."

"But not freely....how is this a good plan?"

"Noona think about it. You can still see hyung whenever, it just has to be where he's working or a staff would go with you. That's all. I think it's still good that the company is letting hyung do this."

"I guess so. I should look at the bright side, I don't have to break up with him."

"Right! So be happy."

"Alright, thanks Kookie!"

End of phone call...

"Let's be honest here, we've done that at some point too in our career. What Taehyung is planning is not bad. But now at this day and age, there is no point on hiding since everyone will always have their say on it." Robert said as he held his hands together and sat in a prayer-like position.

"I get where Tae is coming from. I thought it was a good idea but now that I'm talking to you guys about it. It won't be as fun because we'll constantly be watched. Heck we can't even hold hands, a finger even if we wanted to!" Lily was now understanding what it's like to date an idol. A famous one for that matter.

"I'm sorry Lily it has to be like this. You should talk to Taehyung once you get the chance. Let him know how you feel." Collins said as she placed a hand on Lily's shoulder. Gal did the same thing and continued, "If Taehyung does not understand where you're coming from then leave him. If he is understanding but doesn't respect it, then leave him."

"Gal just tell her to dump him why don't you." Ryan said.

"It's true though. Lily does not need any of this kind of drama in her life. Not when she has this movie to direct. Plus, if Taehyung cannot be a man and handle this situation correctly then I say he isn't right for her."

"And who are you to say he isn't right for her?" Robert asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I am her mom, you know that." Everyone laughed but Lily knew Gal was a mom-like figure to her when on set.

A few days have passed and everyone was back on set, including Taehyung. He has not come in contact with her after that day and Lily was getting worried by the minute. Once he showed up on set, Lily took the chance and ran to him. Using her power as director, "Taehyung I need you to meet with Collins in her room. She wanted to speak with you about a scene."

"Okay." He looked at her with a blank face. Lily knew something was up so she prepared for this. Collins let her use her dressing room for the two to talk. Once he got inside, Lily closed the door and locked it.

"Alright Tae it's time to talk. What the hell is going on?"

"What do you mean?"

"You told me to leave everything up to you. That you will solve our problem. So what's the solution?"

"The solution is to break up."

"What? Who said?"

"I said. I've tried everything Lily. I really did. I don't get it but my company won't budge. I didn't want to put you through the ordeal of having to be around staff just to be with me. Heck if it was like that, we won't even be able hold hands, not even a pinkie!" 

Taehyung sat down on the chair dejected, with his head in his hands. Lily didn't realize how stressed he was about this. But then again, she wasn't informed about anything.

"I'm sorry Taehyung. Why didn't you call me about it? Or text me? I could maybe talk to them?"

"I didn't want to call you because I still wanted the idea that you're my girlfriend for the past few days. But now, I have to accept it that you're not going to be mine anymore." He looked up at her with his eyes tearing up. 

"Taehyung. Why don't we try and be friends for now? Then maybe, if your company sees how miserable we are maybe they'll let us be together?"

"Guilt trip tactic. That could work. I know if the guys also make slight comments that being friends isn't enough for us, then it should help too."

"Wow, we are terrible."

"No we're just awesome partners in crime." Taehyung's mood got brighter and he held his hand up for a high five. Lily responded but before her hand came down, Taehyung grabbed and linked his hand with hers.

"It's just us two in here and no one is around." He wiggled his eyebrows in a teasing way making Lily laugh. 

"You dork." She gave him a kiss on the cheek. 

"So this means, we are still dating okay? We'll just be neutral in public and to my friends." Taehyung and Lily agreed with their new plan. Deep down, they prayed it would work because after experiencing the other (dates wise ahem ahem), they don't want to let go of each other.
