Uhhh sorry if this isnt how boarding a plane works ive never been on one so idrk how it works

————————
Fugo followed the rest of the people on the plane, holding his book in his hand. A tall man with brown hair took his luggage up the stairs, and Fugo followed him.

Once he got inside the airplane, he grabbed the very back window seat.

(He made sure to grab the back seat just in case there was some snot-nosed brat deciding to kick the seat. He wanted to avoid a Purple Haze massacre on a plane, as that would probably result in a crash.)

One by one, everyone else boarded the plane. Fugo let himself relax a little, leaning back and opening a page of his book. He had read a couple pages when a passenger interupted him. "Is it okay if I sit here?"

Fugo pushed down his book to look at them. He couldn't quite tell if they were a boy or a girl, but...They were beautiful. Their short black hair was splayed messily where an orange bandana was wrapped around their hair. Their purple eyes shined brightly against their perfectly tanned skin, and they're oddly strapped tank-top was tight to their skin. Their body was slim but muscular, much like-

"Hello?"
Fugo's heartbeat quickened, for some unknown reason. "Yeah, you can sit here."
"'Kay, thanks. Just thought you looked a lil' lonely, so I came over here."
Fugo nodded and picked up his book in an attempt to thwart any conversating.

The person next to him pulled their right knee to their chest and looked around. "So, uh, what's your name?"
"Pannacotta Fugo, you can call me Fugo though."
"That's a pretty name. Mine is Narancia Ghirga, you can call me just Narancia though."

Narancia... What a pretty name.

"Narancia, uh, could you maybe tell me your pronouns? I can't tell if-"
"I'm a boy or a girl, I know. I get that all the time."
Narancia grinned. "I guess it's 'cuz I'm so pretty I'm always getting mistaked for a girl. But I go by he/them pronouns. What're yours?"
"He/him."
Narancia nodded and rested his arms behind his head. "So, Fugo...Where're ya headed?"
"America. I got a scholarship at a university, so I'm going there."
"Same! Well, not the scholarship part, but I'm going to America too. Gonna get a piloting license so I can fly planes."

Fugo nodded, leaving an awkward silence between the two before Narancia said "Hey, Fugo, can you see this?"
Out of nowhere, the raven-haired boy had somehow materialized a small toy flying plane. "Wh- Don't hit anyone, you idiot!"
"So you do see it?!"
"Of course I see it. Anyone could see it."

Narancia stuck out his arm and the plane landed on it before disappearing again. "Nuh-uh. People kept on saying I was delusional when I showed it to 'em. Said it wasn't there."
"Maybe it's a stand?" pondered the blonde half to himself.

"Everyone, please stay seated. The plane is about to take flight."

Narancia moved his legs off the seat and leaned back. "Whats a stand?"
"Well, the simplest way to put it would be a super power that only other stand users—or people with 'superpowers'—can see."
Narancia grinned and bounced a little in his seat. "So we're both stand users?"
Fugo nodded. "Yep. My stand is called 'Purple Haze'. I'd summon but I can't really control it."
"Mine is called 'Aerosmith'. I dunno what it can do though."

The plane started to take off, and Narancia clutched his stomach. "Is something wrong?" asked the blonde, who was weirdly worried about him.
The raven-hair boy nodded. "Just... A little nervous. Haven't been on a plane before."
"You...haven't been on a plane before, yet you want to get a flying license?"
"Yeah. I mean, look at how cool Aerosmith is!"
Fugo smiled softly. It's cute how he's so excited.

Suddenly, Narancia grabbed Fugo's hand and squeezed it. The blonde's face flushed a bright red. "What're you doi-"
"I'm scared, Fugo."

Fugo hesitantly placed his other hand on Narancia's thigh, rubbing small circles. "It'll be fine. Soon it'll be fully in the air, and it'll be okay."
Narancia sniffed and smiled. "...You're really nice, Fugo."
Fugo's blush, which had disappeared, came back again. "Thanks...Nobody's ever really told me that."

A little to Fugo's dismay, Narancia pulled his hand away and set it in his lap. "Hey, Fugo?"
"Yeah?"
Narancia looked at Fugo, his tanned face slightly red. "I think I might love you."
Fugo blushed heavily, suddenly becoming very interested in his book.
"I...don't know..."
"Oh. I-I meant as a friend of course. Yeah... a friend."
"Then, yeah sure."

Another awkward silence was passed between them, causing Fugo to pull out his book again. Pages went by, chapters, and not another word was spoken. Fugo wondered if he had said something wrong.

The blonde was almost finished with his book when he felt something soft on his shoulder. He eyed to his side, looking to see if the smaller boy was up to some stupid shenanigan.

Turns out, he wasn't. In fact, he was asleep, his head resting on Fugo's shoulder. Little snoring sounds came out of his mouth slightly. Fugo could only describe it as cute.

Cute?

Fugo felt his face light up red. Why did he find Narancia so damn cute? Fugo sighed. He would've felt annoyed if someone kept on trying to talk to him, but when Narancia talked to him, he just felt relieved. Like some overbearing weight was just being lifted off his shoulders, even if it was just for a couple moments at a time. Even now, he felt himself being slowly lulled into sleep just by the boy's presence.

Fugo closed his book, laying his head on Narancia's. Not long after he had fallen asleep as well.

Fugo felt his head slowly move up, causing him to open his eyes. "Hhnn?" slurred Fugo sleepily, lifting his head up.
"Huh? Oh, ha, sorry I woke ya. I was trying to be gentle but you woke up anyways.
The blond shook his head. "No, no, its fine. I'm sorry I put you in such an awkward position."
"Nah, it was comfy."

"The plane will be landing shortly. Please get yourself ready for exit."

Narancia's face lit up in suprise. "Huh? We were sleeping that long?"
Fugo laughed nervously. "Apparently."
"Hey, Fugo. Where are you headed? Like what city, what state?"
"Chicago, Illinois."
Narancia beamed. "Wait, really? I'm going there too! Can I have your num so I can contact you?"

Fugo's heart started to thump nervously. "Uh, sure..."
He fumbled furiously, attempting to retrieve his phone from his back pocket, which he finally got after an awkward wait. He flipped it open, practically shoving it in Narancia's face. "Um, I think it would be easier if you just entered it in here."
"Hm? Oh, okay then!"

Narancia grabbed Fugo's phone and and punched in his number before handing it back.

"The plane has now landed. Please get your belongings and make your way to the exit."

Narancia stood up, reaching over Fugo to open the storage compartment that held their bags. He grabbed his own bag and handed Fugo his luggage. People were starting to file off the plane, and Narancia jumped in line to get out. "See ya, Fugo!"
Fugo waved, though Narancia had already been ushered out the door by other passengers.

Fugo looked down at his phone and at the new contact that Narancia had added for himself. He had labeled it 'Nara'. Fugo looked out the door at Narancia, who was helping an old lady down the stairs. A small smile crept onto his face as he added a little orange heart next to Narancia's contact.
