The next morning, Colin Spirit was at the boutique hanging out with Rarity! Colin Spirit: do you need any help?
Rarity: no thanks darling! Then fluttershy walked into the Boutique and asked if Rarity could hang out today! Rarity: fluttershy darling, I'm busy and I need your help, sweetie bell's friends are coming over, and I need someone to watch them while I work on a difficult order! Colin Spirit walked over to Rarity! Colin Spirit: I would love to watch over the little ones while you work, fluttershy, want to help me out? Fluttershy: sure! Then the other 2 crusaders showed up and did their little greeting! Colin Spirit: Rarity, before I go, here's a note that I wrote for you! Colin Spirit hands Rarity the note, then he left with fluttershy and the cutie mark crusaders! Rarity read the note: dear Rarity, after the grand galloping gala,and a day later, I'll be visiting The princess sisters in Canterlot, while I'm gone, I need you and the girls to keep an eye out for Kyber the huntsman, love your hybrid hero friend, Colin Spirit! Rarity: he looks terrible! Jack skelingdog: I agree! Rarity looks over to her right and saw Jack skelingdog sipping a cup of coffee! Jack skelingdog: sorry, have we met?, I'm Jack skelingdog, Colin Spirit's dog, I'm guessing that my owner gave you the note! Rarity: yes and I'm confused! Jack skelingdog: I know right?, anyway, my owner gave you the mission! Rarity: why would he give me the note? Jack skelingdog: I think he knows that you're perfect for the job and he trusts you! Rarity: so, how long till the rufien shows up? Jack skelingdog: in a week, give her a take! Rarity leaves the house and walked back to the boutique! Meanwhile at Fluttershy's cottage! Colin Spirit: girls settle down! Fluttershy: girls let's play a quiet game! Scootaloo: boring! Colin Spirit to Fluttershy: what do we do? Fluttershy: how about sending them to bed! Colin Spirit: great idea! Colin Spirit then dialed up tinker- fairy on his omnitrix,and puts the crusaders to sleep!

Then Fluttershy carried the kids to bed! Colin Spirit's omnitrix timed out!

Colin Spirit: now that's done, Fluttershy, I need to tell you something! Later in the living room, after the explanation! Fluttershy: I guess you gave Rarity the note! Colin Spirit: yes, anyway good night! While Colin Spirit was asleep, Fluttershy gets up and found out that the girls were outside and in the everfree forest! Fluttershy whisper: Colin Spirit, wake up! Colin Spirit woke up! Colin Spirit: what it's, 2am, in the morning! Then a rainbow colored mist escaped from Colin Spirit's mouth! Colin Spirit: oh no my ghost sence, but in Rainbow colors, it must mean a magical creature is near by! Colin Spirit then gets up and asked where are the crusaders? Fluttershy: they're in the everfree forest! Colin Spirit: they must be trying to to rescue a chicken, but, oh no! Fluttershy: what? Colin Spirit: we need to get to them before it's to Late! Colin Spirit and Fluttershy both ran into the everfree forest! Meanwhile the crusaders found a chicken but it wasn't the one they were looking for!

It was a cockatrice! A creature with a head of a chicken and a body of a snake! The crusaders started running around in panic mode when both Colin Spirit and Fluttershy showed up just in time! Colin Spirit[ pirate voice]: R, it be the Medusa of equestria! The cockatrice ran towards Colin Spirit, but in a the nick of time Colin Spirit transforms into his Spirit-freak alien form with his omnitrix!

Spirit-freak: you can't turn me into stone, because I have no soul, I'm a ghost! Then in one second, Colin Spirit's omnitrix timed out!

Colin Spirit to his omnitrix: who's side are you on? Then the cockatrice stared Colin Spirit right in the eyes and turned his into stone! Colin Spirit's thoughts: oh primus! Fluttershy: Colin Spirit, no! Then Fluttershy walked over to the cockatrice and did something that the crusaders didn't expect to happen!

After the cockatrice returns twilight sparkle and the chicken to normal, it returns Colin Spirit to normal! Colin Spirit walked over to Fluttershy and the others! Colin Spirit: what happened,? , all I remember is I turned into my ectonurite alien, the next thing I knew, I was turned into stone! Fluttershy: I tell you everything in the morning! The next morning, Colin Spirit: so what you're telling me is that I tried saving the little ones and got turned into stone in the process! Fluttershy: that's what happened, I also did the stair on the cockatrice! Colin Spirit: I believe you, also, I learned my lesson about cockatrice! Twilight: what's that? Colin Spirit: never, unless you're Fluttershy, stair a cockatrice in the eyes! The three ponies then laughed in agreement! Then Rarity came by to pick up the crusaders and took them home! Colin Spirit: see you later Fluttershy and Twilight! Twilight: where are you going? Colin Spirit: to my lab to take care of some stuff! To be continued in the next chapter
