Next thing I knew, I parted ways with Enola. She seemed like a wonderful girl, who someday might be able to change the world, but for now all she can do is give Sherlock a hard time. Yikes.
So I decided on leaving the girl on her own, after having a talk with her of course. I have a feeling that we'll become even better friends on the future.
She kinda reminded me of Amy. They both were sweet adventurous girls. The only difference I spotted was that Enola was afraid in any way to take risks. You know the saying "I have nothing to lose?" Everything of Enola screamed that. The way she talked, the way she thought, they way she held herself and most of all the unfortunate situations she was into.
It must have been rough for her growing up only with her mother in a big house. Knowing that both her brothers are much older than her. Knowing that they were two successful man, living the life that she wanted.
It was clear Enola wanted to be a detective. It was her dream and only goal in life. No, she didn't want to find a rich husband to marry for financial stability. The patriarchy screamed no.
Patriarchy and financial stability. The reasons my mother married my father and the reasons my dear Jane might have to change her life forever.
You see, my mom has never been rich. In fact her family was poor. As poor as they had to sell her for a better livings for her 5 other siblings. I swear it's always the poorest families the ones that have the most kids. Why give birth when you can't take care for them? My mom cried and begged my grandparents to not sell her. To keep her but they had made their mind.
Durning that time my dad was in his middle 20s while my mom was 15. She was sold to the palace/mansion my dad lived as a slave. From someone who cleaned the bathroom, she became a chief and then a housekeeper. My grandma (dads mother) always liked her. Not only was she beautiful but smart and talented too. Her biggest dream was to explore the world and become a famous scientist but her dreams were crushed the day she turned 19. The day my grandma decided that she would be my dads bride. May I remind you my dad was near his 30s at the time.
He treated his young bride with respect and love. Even tho he never grew romantic feelings for my mom, mostly due to the age gap, my mother surely did. She not only loved my father but looked up to him too. You can only imagine how devastating his death had been for her.
My mom says she's more than happy with what she had and being with me and my siblings and seeing us grow is more than enough for her but deep down I know that she had regrets.
Omg I can't imagine how awkward the love making must have been. Ew.

.From the distance nce I saw someone running. As the person got closer I realized that it was Tewksbury.
"TEWKS!" I shouted running towards him.
"Y/n?" He answered confused.
"Why did you run away?"
He shook his head.
"I'll explain everything latter. We need to help a friend of mine."
"May I ask who this friend of yours is?"
"Enola. Enola Holmes. She's being sent to this school by her brother. We need to help her to escape."
So she had already been caught.
