Chapter 4 ~ The Rooftop

Also this is a nicer chapter there are NO TW in this chapter. I thought i would give you guys a break from all the intenseness. 

I'm sorry for the late update, I was feeling really unmotivated but I'm working on chapter 4 right now and will try to get it out on time this week.

Anyways, ON WITH THE STORY!!!!

"you don't need to apologise Marinette, you can say as much or as little as you want" I smiled at her. "M'lady" I then held out my hand for her to take. She giggled as she took my hand.

"where are we going?" she smiled curiously

"it's a surprise but I promise you'll love it" I picked her up bridal style.

"I swear to god Chat if you take me with you to catch mice for you to eat I will murder you"

We then both erupted with laughter.

'she has the most gorgeous laugh'

I blush intensely but my mask covers it.

'Jeez this girl is lighter than Everly'

That day I didn't know how bad it truly was that she was that light but I wish I did.

I held onto her tightly, but not enough to hurt her, as I jumped from rooftop to rooftop. I could tell that she was scared but also enjoying it. I smiled as she was looking at the scenery around her. When we were close to where I was taking her, I told her to close her eyes. I wanted it to be a surprise.

The place I took her to was my special place, it was a park that my mum bought for me when I was a little kid. No one knows about it but me, now that she's gone. I've never shown anyone it before, especially not my father, because of how special it is to me, but Marinette seemed like she needed some cheering up.

Obviously, the garden keeper as well or whatever they're called, knows about it.

I let Marinette down and place my staff behind my back where I usually put it when I'm not using it.

"Where are we?" She asked, still with her eyes closed.

"Well it's a place I usually come when I'm having a rough day or something happened and I just want to calm down."

"Can I open my eyes now?" It was adorable how she was impatient.

"Of course, you can" I asked. I felt my lips widen in a smile when she opened her eyes. Her bluebell eyes shone like the stars that night.

⭐Marinette⭐

'HOLY FUCKING SHIT! This place is amazing'

It was like something out of a Disney Princess movie.

We were on a rooftop, I don't know where exactly but I know I've never seen it before, it was definitely in Paris though I could see the Eiffel Tower.

There was a gorgeous fountain in the middle, with a little lake surrounding it. There was a path going all around the lake and the garden. The path is lit up with small lanterns going along the edges as well as some tulips outlining the path. The garden was filled with so many beautiful flowers, they were all arranged so that it looked very aesthetic. It was basically as amazing as the Palace Garden in 'Princess Diaries 2'.
