Adrien

"...I had a really fucking shitty night sleep last night and now my brain can't function properly."

Those words played in my head over and over.

"I knew I shouldn't have let her sleep on the chaise last night Plagg. She wasn't able to function properly because she slept there and it's all my fault." I was sitting in my bed with my head in my hands talking to Plagg.

"Honestly Adrien..." Plagg looked at me with a mouth full of camembert.

"Yeah?" I was curious on what he had to say.

He finished his cheese, "that sounds like a you problem" I said with a straight face before stuffing his face with camembert again.

"This is serious Plagg" I frowned

"Yeah for you it is" he chuckled and flew to his pile of cheese.

I rolled my eyes at him, "you know what Plagg?"

"What?" he said grabbing another piece of cheese.

"Claws Out!"

"What about my chee-" he tried saying as he got sucked into my ring but wasn't able to finish.

Marinette

I tried working on my Cat Noir inspired clothing line some more. And even though my brain had basically stopped working properly I was able to get way more done than I thought.

*tap tap*

I turned around in my chair to see that Cat Noir was tapping on the window. He gently pushed it open and asked if he could come in. I could see that he didn't look so great so I wonder if what happened last night happened to him again.

"Of course you can come in Kitty" I smiled at him as he climb through. "What has brought you here tonight?" I gently asked

"Um... nothing much, just wanted to talk I guess" he said shyly while shrugging. "So how was your sleep last night?" he asked curiously but also kind of like he already knew the answer.

"Alright" that was a fat lie "Yours was good I presume, based on the fact that you were sound asleep when I went to ask you if you needed anything else like five minutes after you got into bed" I let out a small giggle.

"Marinette" looked at me with a serious but also sweet and soft expression on his face "I know you didn't" he seemed like he was worried about me which was really sweet.

I looked at him very confused, not understanding how he would know that, "What makes you think that?" I didn't want to confirm it just in case. In case of what I don't know but I felt like there was something.

"I heard you talking, well yelling at the boy this morning, about how you had a bad sleep last night. Your exact words were: 'I had a really fucking shitty night sleep last night and now my brain can't function properly'. So yeah I know that your sleep was definitely not alright." The way he said it was so sad and the look he gave me was upsetting, I could tell that he thought it was all his fault.

"Hey, don't worry it wasn't because of you. I just had some really bad nightmares that's all" I said softly. For a second his face lit up a bit knowing it wasn't his fault but then dropped when he heard that last part.
