THE FEELING OF SALTWATER WASH OVER HER IVORY SKIN WASN'T a foreign feeling to Evie Routledge. Her hands skimmed the water as she danced and enjoyed the feeling, she had always loved the water.

She twirled and danced by herself, not giving one shit if people were watching, even if they were watching she knew why. She liked to call it "Pretty People Privilege" and it completely existed, nobody ever saw Evie and recognized anything other than her beauty.

She resented the fact she was pretty, it caused her more problems than being an average girl would be. No one had ever appreciated her brains, all they ever cared about was her looks, maybe that's why she kind of resented them.

Evie walked out of the water and back to her sand-covered towel, unbeknownst to her were two gawking teenage boys. They noticed her the minute she walked onto the beach, or at least one of them.

Walking back to the chateau from the Main St. Beach was a bit of a hike, but nothing Evie hadn't already done before. It took her all of twenty minutes to walk back to the chateau, on the way there Evie wondered if her brother would be there now.

When she first arrived in town she went straight to the chateau, though nobody was there when she got there. So she decided going to her favorite place on the island was a good way to waste some time.

Now as she walked up the steps of the house and walks inside to see four people, two sitting on the couch and two walking to the couch, food in hand. Evie didn't particularly pay attention to what they were eating, but she recognized it as something you got for a couple bucks at any shop.

The four people looked at Evie so quickly she thought their necks would break, although she did hear a little bit of a pop. As she made eye contact with John B, she gave him a confused face, while sincerely hoping he would recognize her.

"Uh, Hello?" The girl sitting on the couch said, while giving her a madog look. Evie found it a little funny that she was trying to intimidate her, but she wouldn't take it to heart, she never did.

"Hi." Evie said, smiling awkwardly back at the girl, she soon learns to be Kiara.

"What the hell are you doing here?" The girl said, standing up as she said it.

"I'm sorry, but who the hell are you?" Evie said, turning to face her too, she was getting on the girl's nerves. This was her family home and no girl, no matter how intimidating, was going to make her explain herself.
