The Life Of The Twins

Chapter One

December 5, 2005
My name is Milly and my brother's name is Billy. We are twins and 9 years old. We both have blue eyes and our hair is blue with a hint of teal in it. We like to match shoes all the time, the shoes we wear are green boots. We also love to match colors but the colors are different. Like he will wear a blue shirt but mine will be green, and his coat is green and mine will be blue. We also have matching head gems. Mother told us we can go play at the park today. I was so happy to go play and meet other kids but Billy was different he didn't like talking to people. I don't blame him though because it can be scary talking to people you don't know, but I always talk for him. He is okay with me doing that because he asked me to. Everyone thinks he's mute but he's not. He could be though because he will only talk to me not even our mother and father. I and my brother thinks it's funny how mom and dad made are names match in a way. We do get bullied in school for our names, but we just ignore the people that bully us. Plus we're good at ignoring people. We had to do that for about 3-4 years but the only people we don't ignore are our parents. They never did anything wrong so we have no reason to ignore them. We have been stuck with mother for a while. I keep asking my mother where is father but she keeps telling me he is out on a work trip. I do hope mother is not lying to us.

December 15, 2005
Today is our birthday we finally are 10 years old. Dad still was not home so we were kinda sad about that. We want downstairs to go eat breakfast with mother. "Good Morning Mother" "Good Morning my little flowers. Did yall sleep well?" Mother asked us as she looked a Billy. "We slept great. Did you sleep well too mother?" I asked her after Billy shacked his head, yes to answer mother's question. "I slept well too," She said as she handed up our food. "So I was thinking we can go to that new theme park that opened up, Would yall like to go there today?" She said as she sit in front of us. Billy jumped up and said yes in sign language and I agreed with him. "Great we will go after yall get ready then. It took us an hour to get ready because could don't pick an outfit. I like the let him pick the outfits but I end up picking them sometimes. Then it took us 10 minutes to find a pair of shoes. They were under our bed the whole time, but after we put them on we ran downstairs. Mother was standing a the door. she was wearing a pretty purple skirt with a dark pink shirt then she had on a light purple scarf and her shoes were light pink. She had a flower crown that was pink and red flowers. I remember that crown she was wearing because Billy and I made it for her. We went up and hugged her. "Come on you two let's go get in the car." She said as she opened the door. The park was about a 20-30 drive from the house. we waited for mother to park the car, then we jumped out of the car. She stopped us fast. "Y'all will not run off, you must stay with me, okay?" She asked as she grab us. "Yes mother we understand," I said as I grabbed her hand, and then I grabbed Billy's hand. We made it up to the front of the park then we saw someone we missed. He run up and hugged them. It was Father that we saw. Mother let us run up and hug him. We spent all day at the park and it was so much fun. It was 9:00 pm when we were about to leave. There were a lot of people leaving the park too and because of that, we ended up losing our parents. Then out of nowhere someone grabbed me and Billy. They covered our eyes so we could not see. They picked us up and put us in a car. They give me something that made me fall asleep.

1 hour later
I woke up and the first thing I did was look around to see if I could find Billy. I saw Billy laying next to me. He was still knocked out. I looked around the room to see where we were but all I saw was that the walls were stone and one of the walls was a bar door. The bars were too close together for us to fit through them. I realized that was were on a bed and not the ground, and we had a blanket. I then heard someone walking and I quickly hid under the blanket and close to Billy. I heard a door open and right away I know it was to the room me and Billy were in because I hear someone open the little door the bars made. The walking got closer to us. Then the person sat on the bed we are on. "I know your awake little one, please don't be scared." A lady said. I sat up so I could see the lady. Her hair was a mix of red and black. She had on a black dress that stopped at her knees and she was wearing black heels. Her eyes were dark green with a hint of blue in them. She had four white bracelets on. she was wearing some glass and on her head, she had a black and white hat on. She was holding a plate that had different kinds of sweets on it. She looked at me and smiled then gave me the plate. "Here I brought yall both some sweets," She said picking up a cookie off the plate. "I have not got y'alls names yet. May I please get them?" She asked me as she looked at my brother who was just waking up. "I'm Milly and my brother's name is Billy," I said to her as I grab Billy's hand. "Your names match, that's cute," She said as she stood up and pulled her dress down some. "Can I know how old yall are?" "We just turned 10 ma'am" she look at me shocked. "I guess you two are twins, that works better for me," She told me. She then turned around and said something to the guy the was standing at the door. She then looked back at me. "The men at the door will tell you how things work here, and if you need anything from me do ask for me only. My name is Abby." She said before leaving the room. The guy the was at the door walked a little closer to us. Then I felt Billy hug up on to me. I turned my head and used sign language to tell him it would be okay. I looked back a the men to study him a little bit. His hair was short and the color of it was black and the tips of it were blue. His eyes were blue with a hint of purple in them. He was wearing a black hoodie and there were words on it. The word said "Never Stop Dreaming" and he had on some navy jeans. He was wearing chukka boots. On his head, he had a blue and purple flower crown. I had to stop studying him so I can hear him talk. "My name is Xander. There are 5 rules you have to follow and trust me you don't want to break them." He said that as he sat on the ground. "Rule one: never talk back to Abby. Rule Two: do everything that she tells you to do. Rule Three: Keep your room and bed clean at all times. Rule Four: When we take you outside you do not try to run off or try to scream. Rule Five: Always eat the food we give." He looked me in the eyes when he said that and I could tell me cared and was trying to help. "Do you guys understand the rules?" "Yes, sir we understand them," I said to him while trying not to cry. "Billy has to answer two." He said as he looked at Billy. "Sir Billy is 95% mute and can't talk that well," I told him as he got off of the ground. "Okay, I will make sure to have that noted down somewhere so the others know this. Well, I have to go now but I will be back later" He told me as he walked out the door and closed and locked it. "Okay Sir," I told him as I laid back down.
