Sally was trying to kill Clay. I didn't think twice I ran up and pushed her to the ground. I got up fast and helped Clay up. "Are You okay?" I asked him. He didn't say anything to me. He had his eyes fixed on Sally. I was not facing her so I could not see what she was doing. Clay pushed me behind him and pulled out a gun. "You tried shooting my father Aunt!" He said to her. "Well I was trying to shoot your mother but he got in the way!" She said with a smile on her face. "What are you doing here anyways child?" She asked Clay. "I'm here for Abby and the twins." He said as he pointed his gun at Sally. "You're not taking them back to their parents Clay! I won't let it happen!" She said as she walked closer to us. "You want to bet?" He asked her. "Yea actually! What are you going to do with the gun anyways? What shot me?" She said to him. "That's the plan ma'am," He said to her in an evil tone. "Oh please, you don't have to guts for that!" She said. "You don't know about my past do you?" He said with a curious voice. "No I don't actually," she said as she stopped in her tracks. "I killed someone when I was 16 and about an hour ago I just killed Abby." He said to her. I could see the shock on Sally's face. She started to walk away slowly. I whisper in Clay's ear. "Please just kill her. She won't stop until mom is dead." I whispered to him. "With pleaser." He said in a happy tone. I could tell Sally understood what I told him. She ran for the door but didn't make it. Clay shot her in the head before she was at the door. "Don't touch anything in this room." Clay said. I looked at the door that goes downstairs and saw Xander and Rome at the door. "Go get Billy we're leaving right now!" Clay said as he put his gun away. I watched Rome leave the room and then come back with Billy. "Follow me to my car now," Clay said opening a door and then walking outside. He opened the door to a black SUV. I got in the back seat and Xander sat back there with me. Rome and Billy sat in the middle. Clay put our bags in the back. Clay started the car and then started driving. I just put my head on the window and looked out it getting stuck in my thoughts.

Family? Does he know mom and dad? Is that what Sally was talking about? Why would she do this is me and Billy? Wait what is Clay going to do with Rome and Xander? They're not part of my family and they're not a part of Clays. I was snapped out of my thoughts after that. I saw we were stopped at a red light. I climb into the front and sit next to Clay. "Clay?" I said. "Yes, Milly?" He said. "Where are you taking us?" I asked him. "To my house of course." He said. "Rome and Xander where are they going to go because there not a part of my family and not a part of yours?" I asked him. He looked at me. "Milly they staying with us I promise ." He said to me. I just sat back in the seat and looked straight at the road. I almost zoned out until I heard Xander calling my name. I looked back at him and saw him patting the seat next to him. I understand he was trying to say he wants me to come back there. I got up and made my way back there. I sat down right now to him and laid my head on his shoulder. about an hour later we were at a house. I could swear I saw the house before but could not remember from where. I look and saw that only me and Xander were in the car. I moved to the middle and looked out the window. I could see Rome standing in front of the window. He was inside. He was also talking to someone. I then saw the door open and Clay walked out. His hand was over his face. He looked like he was crying. I open the car door and got out. I want up to Clay. "Are you okay Clay?" I asked him. He looked at me, and I could see he was trying not to cry. "Yea I am." He said. I could tell he was lying. I just hugged him. He started to cry after that. I stay right there and hugged him until he stopped crying. "I'm not okay actually." He said. "Well tell me what's wrong then?" I said to him. "Well, I'm scared that they won't want me no more after getting their kids back," He said trying to not let the tears fall again. "I'm sure they won't do that to you, but can I please know who you're talking about?" I said to him. "That's right you don't know yet. I'm talking about my parents." He said. Before I could say anything to him I heard the car door open. I looked and saw Xander standing there with his arms crossed. He had a look on his face like he was mad. "Hey don't worry men I don't want your girl." Clay said walking over to Xander. He put his hand on Xander's shoulder and then said something to him. I didn't hear what he said but whatever he said made Xander shocked. "Hey, why don't we go inside, There someone dying to meet you, Milly." Clay said walking to the door. I walked to the door and stopped in my tracks. I was looking at the ground. It was the same rug my mother had in front of the door when I was a kid. I looked at Clay and then walked inside. I didn't have to walk any farther into the house to know I was home. "There in the living room waiting." Clay said to me. He walked passed me and into the living room. I didn't want to walk into the living room. I went upstairs and to my old room. I opened the door to the room. It looks the same since the last time I was in it. I sat on the bed and grabbed my favorite stuffed animal and lay down. I hugged the stuffed animal trying not to cry. I waited about five minutes before getting up and walking downstairs. I reached the living room and stopped. I was not in view to where everyone could see me. I could hear mother talking about the year we misses. I buried my face in the stuffed animal I was still holding. I took a deep breath and then walked in to the living room. I saw my dad's eyes look at me before anyone saw me walk in. He smile at me and then patted the sit next to him. I walked over to him and sat down. I put my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. I could her mother talking. All I could hear was happiness in her voice, and how happy she was to see us again. I was happy I was home. I don't have to worry anymore. I can be happy again, and with that, I , fell asleep.

I closed the book and looked at the kids. That is the end of the book. One of the kids in the back raised there hand. "Yes, Mia?" I said. "Is this story based on a real one?" She asked me. "Mia please look on the back of the book and read it" I said to her. I watch as she grabbed the book and look on the back of it. I saw her eyes move side to side. She then looked me me. "It's your true story?" She asked. "It's based on something I lived through." I said to her. "And where are the three boys now ma'am?" One of the kids asked me. "Rome and Billy work at a library and Clay still does the same job as before." I said to them. "What about Xander?" One of the boys asked me. "Well he's the art teacher here." I said. I could see all the kids in shock. "Would you guys like to talk to him. Im sure he's on break right now." I said to them. All of the kids said yes. I got up and grab my phone and called him. He said he will be here in five minutes. I was happy I got to teach one of my class about something that could happen. It was the best 11th grade class I have taught so far. I'm ready to tell other kids about my story so they can learn too.
