Rengoku's P.O.V

Groaning I get out of bed feeling quite energized, who knows why though. I get ready quickly to go on my mission, as I'm walking out of my room seeing my little brother and Mitsuri.

"Big brother!!!" My brother Senjuro says

"Good morning Senjuro and Mitsuri, how are you guys?" I said a little loudly as Senjuro ran up to me and hugged me tightly. " good morning Rengoku we're doing just fine" Mitsuri said smiling.

"Where are you going big brother?" Senjuro asked me

"I'm heading out on a mission to go get someone you'll meet them very soon" I smiled. "Awww but you just got back can't you stay a little longer"he whines "I'm sorry but I can not I must get going now no time to wait I'll see you when I get back"

I gently put him down waving bye to him and Misuri. I walk out of my house then I hurry out the hashira  estate.

P.O.V Change (2nd person)

As you cuddle bean he rubs his face on yours purring softly. Mico is somewhere probably outside sitting on the patio, she does that a lot for some reason.

Suddenly You hear a loud knock on the door.

Beans ears go straight up as you try to get him out of your arms. He holds on to you with his claws stabbing into the sleeve of your shirt. You give up on trying letting go of him and take him with you instead.

When you get close to your door you hear mico hissing at someone and them telling her to stop. You open the door to see the same demon slayer from earlier, Rengoku?

"Um hello Rengoku,What brings you here?" You question "I'm on a mission to retrieve you and take you to my master" he said smiling at me. "what could he possibly want with me?" You ponder out loud

"He didn't tell me so it's up for you to find out" he said smiling even bigger if possible.

"Sorry come inside mico here hates strangers a lot for some reason" You say before telling him you'll follow him out soon but first you have to do something. You open the door wider stepping to the side.

He kindly takes the offer needing a place to rest his feet and sit for a little bit. Now that you look outside you noticed it's getting a little dark out the sun is hardly peeking over the trees. You turn to Rengoku as you close the door readying yourself to ask a question.

" I was wondering if you'd like to stay the night maybe, seeing as it's getting dark outside and it's probably a long way there I would rather have you stay with us then somewhere unknown "

You look to see Rengoku is giggling at you cheeks slightly red from laughter. "I wouldn't mind staying here y/n, thank you for offering, but don't you have a husband? " he ask a little confused tilting his head a little.

You look away a little not knowing what to say but you know you want to get back at him, for laughing at you. " oh yeah he wouldn't like you staying here I forgot" you a sadly

" oh.." he tells you 

Feeling a little bad you quickly cave and tell him the truth

" no I'm sorry I'm was just kidding I don't have a husband" you play off a breathy laugh

He seems to get happier and smile laughing " yeah I knew that..." he try's to play off. "Sure" you reply

You set bean down then show him around your house, finally stopping in front of the guest room. "and this is the guest room concluding the tour." You say opening the room.

"You have a lovely home y/n" Rengoku says happily "thank you, now that the tour is over how about we sit down for some tea?" You asked hopefully he'd say yes.

You don't know why but you'd really like if you guys would become friends. I mean you'll probably won't see him much but you'd still want to be friends with him.

Maybe it's his personality or the way he always smiles. It could just be his handsomeness, but your just drawn to him.

"That would be wonderful actually, thank you" Rengoku says removing his plain haori. Now that you get a good look at him he's quite muscular. ' I wonder what they fee-' your thoughts where cut off by Rengoku calling your name.

"Y/n?"

"mhm oh yeah umm just thinking about what tea to drink" you reply naturally. " oh well I'm good with anything really" he responded. "Okay I'll go make some (random/fav tea) then"

Just as you where about to walk away. You both hear loud screams. You turn to look at him before running to your room getting your katana.

With Rengoku following behind you walk out of you house closing the door rushing over to the small town. As you get closer it's pretty quiet, too quiet.

But you see nothing so far. You creep deeper into town carefully and quietly. You creep up to the closes house and see blood everywhere.

The house is destroyed inside. Your face turns into one of horror. You run out the house to the next one,checking each one. Blood in every house, who or what ever did this had a field day.

You get to the last house and hear a strange noise, is someone eating?

You go to open the door but it seems to be open already. You push the door open with little to no force, slowly the door creaks the eating sounds get louder.

You creep through the house until you get to the living area, And spot something.

A demon

The demon just so happens to be eating grandma yuki. Thoughts fly as you remember the screaming from earlier. It must have been her it had to be her.

Tears start flowing down you face as you charge for the demon. It quickly steps back before saying "oh goodie another one to eat, me and my pals are going to have lots of power" it ends the sentence with a smile.

" HOW DARE YOU, YOU... YOU MONSTER" you yell quickly charging at using your seventh form to finish it of. Slicing its head off you end it's life in a flash, Before Falling to your knees.

Your whole village gone no one left to spear that you know of.

Suddenly Rengoku charges through the door katana in hand panting heavily, he probably just fought another demon.

He sees you on the floor and walks up to you putting a hand on you shoulder. His hand glides down to your back rubbing it gently and slowly. As He tells you, you'll be alright.

You turn around and look him in the eyes "thank you , for making me feel a little better" you say sadly.

"No problem, now let's go kill the rest of those demon." He replied smiling his usual big smile making you smile too its quite contagious.
