A love letter to Autumn

Oh how much I've missed you

When the cold breeze would caress my cheeks

Telling me you're here for me

When I could feel the warmth from the encore,

Hinting towards the summertime passion

The sun crawling up from my back to my shoulders and face

Just like an old love's embrace

The falling of the flame-y leaves

As if they are burning with passion

Mimicking a recent lovesick,

Dancing towards despair in an old fashion

thus feuille morte is what they become

Reminiscing about the past, I stand at the door to welcome

Emotions of hope, hurt, and heartache

Oh how much I've missed you, Autumn.
