"DUDE I can't wait to have a few drinks and have a catch-up!" I enthusiastically add.

"I know y/n it's been so long!" my friend Toby tells me on the phone.

"What time shall I head over?" I faff about loading up my car.

"Erm like 8.30 9ish."

"Awesome I'll see you in a few hours buddy!" I put my phone away and get into my car, I head to my mum's house, she's organised a family meal.

"Did you have a gun?" My little brother asked.

I laugh "Yes buddy I did."

"Do you have it with you??" I pull him onto my lap.

"No, we're not allowed to take them home."

"Ahh man! that sucks!" I squish him making him squirm away from me.

"How's uni going Carmen?" I turn to my eldest younger sister taking a bite of food.

"Yeah, it's ok."

"Your sister has a new boyfriend." My mum adds. I wiggle my eyebrows. "Oh really??"

"Mamm you promised you wouldn't tell her!" I turn to her "Why can't I know?? Huh?"

She sighs "Cause your judgemental and he's a little scared of you..." I laugh loudly. "Lil old me? I'm not scary."

Carmen rolls her eyes leaving the table. "Well mum that was delicious, I'm going out this evening so I'll stay out." I go to her giving her a hug and a kiss.

"Be careful you! AND safe! Not ready for any grandbabies yet."

I cringe "Mum! don't be silly! Bye guys!" I head out grabbing my jacket. I decide to leave my car and dust off my bike driving to Toby's house.

I pull up outside take my helmet off and roll it up his drive. I catch the back of a certain blonde heading into the house. See his younger sister and me had a situationship growing up but Toby never knew it was all a big secret, she wasn't ready to let people know she was Pansexual (let's be honest we all know she is really!)

I hesitantly open the door "Toby?"

"Y/N YOU MADE IT." He runs from the kitchen hugging me. "DUDE it's so good to see you..." He paused. "Damn! you got jacked!"

I laugh "Yeah the army will do that to you! So erm is everyone coming like all the old gang?"

He nods "Yeah course they'll all be here along with my sisters and a few of their friends. It'll be a good night."

I look around there are not at of people here right now I head to grab a drink Toby follows me asking questions.

"So have you killed anyone?"

I avoided his gaze "Can we not talk about it right now I just wanna get drunk and forget about it for now."

He grabs my shoulder "Yeah course I'm sorry! So any lady friends whilst you were out there?"

"Nah they were all like family to me, man! Speaking of are there any decent ladies around?"

"I guess Flo has some pretty friends, there's this one girl Hailee, I think you'd like her, I'll point her out they're both upstairs right now."

Many drinks later I check the time and an hour has gone by, Toby runs over to me grabbing my shirt. "Oh, here she comes!" I look at the stairs as the girls spin around.

The girl who I learned is Hailee is gorgeous, with long hair, an incredible body... and... I lose train of thought when I catch that blonde hair. She's cut it short, suit her. Wow, she looks amazing.

"DUDE! is that Florence?"

"Er yeah are you blind course it is!"

My heart stops. She looks so different, more mature and much more sure of herself, I can't help but automatically be pulled to her.

"Come on I'll introduce you to Haiz." I follow as he walks to the girls. I stop looking up and catch yes with Flo, those beautiful Hazel eyes, we smile at one another my heart beating out of my chest.

"Oh, Y/n hey!" Florence hugs me tightly, I put my arm around her waist hugging her back and pressing our bodies together. I pull away visibly swallowing as we do.

"Y/n this is Haiz, Haiz y/n." Toby introduces us, pulling my gaze from Flo, of course, I smile politely and shake her hand.

"So you're in the Army huh?" I'm not sure how long I've been taking the Haiz but I lost Flo she was talking to some guy.

"Er yeah just finished my third tour."

"Wow, that's amazing." Hailee stroked a finger down my arm. Considering I don't think I'll get anywhere with Florence I decide to just enjoy the attention. Yes I know I'm a bad person but I've had 0 human contact for what feels like forever.

We laugh together and drink. I see Flo In the corner of the room with this guy all over her, she seems to laugh at his jokes.

"Haiz I'm ognna grab another drink you want one?"

"Oh yes please same again." I smile taking her cup and heading to the kitchen. I pour the drink and turn to hed back but I'm stopped by the blonde walking towards me.

"Hey y/n."

"Hey Flo, you er having a good night?"

"Oh yeah it's great..."

"So uh boyfriend?" I gesture towards the guy in the corner.

"Oh nooo way!" she scoffs grabbing a drink from the fridge

"Seem awfully pally." I grit out a little jealous of him.

"You jealous." She bites her bottom lip.

"Don't be silly." I shift slightly.

"Oh came on I know you've missed our secret rendezvous." She walks toward me making me back up slightly.

I turn away from her "We both agreed to stop that." I set the drinks down turning back to her.

I feel her hands snake around my body and under my shirt.

"Flo your brother is... Fuck!" her hands trail down uny body until her hand is over my dick.

"I know it must have been a while for you."

"Oh, Y/n hey have you got those..." Haiz walks in as Flo quickly pulls away.

"Oh sorry Haiz we were just talking!

"Oh no worries I'll grab the drinks and go sit back down, see you in a bit" I hand her the drinks.

"Flo that was not cool!" I grab her pushing her into a corner.

"Well agree to meet me later and I'll stop." If I don't do it she'll make this evening hell for me.

"Fine, usual spot?"

"That sounds good!" she licks my cheek "I'll see you later" She palms my dick over my jeans, making my eyes roll back.

I go to the toilet splashing water over my face and breathing out.

"Shit we can't get into this again, you got so hurt last time," I tell myself in the mirror.

"Fuck!" I kick the cabinets below causing. a small panel to dislodge. I went to pick it up when I saw what I first thought to be a small binder but it was a small keepsake book.

Being human, curiosity took over me. I was hesitant at first until a see an old picture of Flo and me I must have been 13/14 a little younger. I smile as I flip through the pages. It's just dozens and dozens of pictures... of us. Her and Me. Flo and Y/n/n.
I carefully close it placing it back. Grinning to myself I walk out the bathroom and sit with Hailee for the next two hours my mind focused on Flo and that book.
