Alice's POV

The same morning routine. Coffee breakfast. I wait for Jack to leave clean the house, and wait for Jack to come home.

The evening was different, I was going to tell him I want out, I can't do this anymore. Finally, he comes home, and he tries to kiss me. I sit him down and tell him I'm leaving him. Jack grabbed me it hurt, he squeezed me harder and harder telling me not to leave. My breath leaves my body as I gasp...

I sit up suddenly covered in sweat almost screaming out.

"Hey, hey Alice. It's ok." I thrash thinking it's Jack until I see Y/n, she pulls me close. Gently she kisses my head soothing me as I slowly relaxed into her touch.

"Same bad dream?" I nod quietly, sobbing as she holds me close. "It's ok I got you, my love." She pulls me onto her chest as she lays us down.

"I swear if I ever see him I'll kill him for what he did."

I look up at her cupping her cheek.

"Can we go back to sleep? I don't even want to think about him. I have you now." Y/n leans down pushing her lips into mine as she nods.

I try so hard to go back to sleep but the nightmare that is Jack Chambers haunts me, each moment I think of him my skin crawls.

I met Y/n a year after 'Victory' she was so understanding with me.

As soon as I woke up and got free I ran as fast and far as my fragile body would let me. Needless to say, he was eventually arrested for kidnapping. I got my job back, life was really on the up.

Recently however we learned he was released bringing my nightmares back. I have this horrible feeling he's watching me all the time. I asked Y/n to install a door camera so I don't accidentally open the door to him.
Naturally, Y/n insisted I get a restraining order against him, which I did. I'm so scared he's going to try and put me back in that place.

I toss and turn all night not being able to settle. I decide to just watch Y/n sleep, it calms me, and she calms me. Y/n makes all the bad go away.

I do over checking my phone at 5.40 my alarm will go off in less than an hour. I get up and decided to have a long shower. I wash my hair and feel a pair of hands on me.

"I was wondering if you'd wake up." I giggle leaning back.

"Always for you Alice." The deep voice confused me so I turned to see his face. I scream I scream so loud I wake myself up again.

"Alice baby. It is ok, she soothes me again I pull on her collar almost unsure who is it I push and pull her until I can finally make out her features.

"Baby, shhh it's ok, I got you." She never lets me go, but I start hyperventilating. Y/n kisses me deeply. My breathing returned to normal quickly.

I rest my head on her chest my fingertips dancing across the skin of her forearms.

"I'm sorry Y/n... I don't know why I keep having nightmares about him."

She tilts my head up. "You never have to apologize for what that sick bastard did to you."

I crawl up her body to kiss her softly.

"I love you so much Y/n I don't think you'll ever understand."

Smiling at me she lays her head back.

"I love you Alice and will always love you. A bit late to go back to sleep now. Why don't we get up and you let me make you breakfast?"
