"This is where you two will be staying."

Y/n drags our bags into the room.

"Thank you." I notice the womans eyes on y/n.

"Well, this is a nice room. A suite y/n really?" I take my bag off my shoulder, leaving it on a chair

"Guessed we'd need the space."

Y/n throws their bag on the sofa.

"You take the bed. I'll sleep here." I knew they wouldn't share a bed with me, but it hurt a little it was so easily dismissed.

"Are you ready for the onslaught?" I sit on a chair opposite the sofa.

"Nah, it'll be fine. Parents love me,"

And they were right. Everyone loved them. My siblings, my parents, my nan a bit too much..

"Your nan is nuts! Y/n laughs as we head back to the room. "You're mum, and dad gave me the ' take care if her' talk too."

Y/n opens the door, letting me in first.

"Thank you." I walk past them, brushing a little close for comfort.

I hear y/n almsot choke on air.

"Well, I'm.. I'm gonna shower and get myself to bed. Day 1 down." Y/n runs off as my mind wonders.

Y/ns POV

5 days in, and her family is a lot of fun to be fair. We've been getting closer to each other. I find myself wanting to be out with her family so I can hold her hand and kiss and cuddle her, but then we come back to the room, like it's nothing.

"Flo, are you ready??" Florence walks out in a bikini. Wow.

"Readyyyy." I can't control my eyes from trailing down her body.

"Y/n." I cannot fathom words.

"Y/n stop gawking." She pushes my arm.

"Erm, are you gonna get changed y/n?" Oh, she's talking to me.

"Huh, what, oh yeah. I'll come sunbathe, but I won't swim." Me shirtless always leads to so many questions it's just easier.

"You know my family get it right y/n? Even my nan." I small smile grows on my face. "You've got a great body flaunt it!"

"Thanks, Flo."

And that's what I did. I was entirely myslef, and no one batted an eyelid.

"Right, guys, im getting drinks. Raise your hands." Everyone puts their hands up.

"Alright, coming up!" I run off grabbing drinks for everyone.

Florence's POV

"Oh Florence dear, they're so gorgeous." Granny Pats eyes followed y/n to the bar.

"NAN! Oh my god." My eyes ventures over to them stood there. They turn flashing a smile at me.

"You've got a good one there, Flossie." My brother sits beside me. "They're clearly very crazy about you." I can't help but smile and nod. "I'm crazy about them too." Am I? no, don't be silly.

Y/n runs back over drinks in hand and hands them out to everyone.

"And last but not least, my gorgeous girl." y/n hands me my cup kissing me on the forhead and throwing themselves onto the sun longer beside me.

Toby nudges me at nods while looking at y/n. I kick him and turn attention back towards y/n. "Shall we finish these and head back? I want to have a nap before this rehersal meal." They lean closer. "I thought rehersal dinners were an American thing?"

"They are, but unless it's escaped, your notice Trent IS American."

I look over seeing y/n yawning as Trents best man gives a pitiful speech

Y/n leans in closen to me. "This is so dull." They throw their head on my shoulder, making me giggle,"I know, but shush!"

"Come on, let's sneak out of here, Flo."

I look back over at them, the faintest light on their face just enough to make out their piercing eyes and that troublesome smile.

"We can't." I feel them lean close their arm on the back of my chair now.

"I have something I want to show you." Y/n takes my hand and quietly and quickly pulls me out, leaving everyone else now watching a picture slideshow of my sister and Trent. "They won't even notice were gone."

Y/n walks out of the hotel toward their car. "Wait, where are we going?"

Y/n clicks open. their car, and we run towards it.

"Well, the thing I want to show you is a few miles away." Hesitantly, I get into the car.

"But it's so late it's already 11.30pm Jesus that rehersal meal dragged!" Y/n smiles at me, their arm reaching behind the headrest.

"We'll get you some coffee." Y/n sets off into the night.

"Coffee at midnight?" Y/n hands me mine and palces theirs in the cupholder.

"We're not far out 5 minutes or so." I can't take my eyes off them. Their perfect bone structure, the way the light reflects he chain on their neck.
Even they way they smell. I quickly shake thoughts from my mind.

I sip my coffee quietly until we abruptly stop. "Oh my god y/n did you almost run that red light?" I felt their eyes on me before we stopped. Did they know they were staring right me??

"Sorry, I'll get parked up." A shakey breath leaves my mouth.

"Where are we going?" We climb the stairs on the outside of a building.

"It's just up here." Y/n smiles down at me. I see Y/n climbing onto a roof.

"Erm, no, I'm not getting up there!" I cross my arms and start to walk back down the stairs.

"Flo, come on, please. I'll help you up, ok?" Y/n jumps back down their presence behind me they reach around me, taking my hand.

I put my hand on the roof, and y/n lifts me up. They jump up after me and help me up.

When I stand, I look out and can see the beach and the sea and light.. so much light is beautiful.

"Wow, it's... gorgeous." Y/n laughs next to me.

"No, not out there, look up." I look at them before looking up. Our shoulders brush. Something I haven't felt before.

"Wow..." Stars, they're so clear from here.

Y/ns POV

"Yeah, so beautiful." I can't take my eyes off her. Flo turns to me.

"The stars, they're so beautiful." I reach my arm around her, giving her a gentle squeeze.

"Thank you." I look down towards her.

"What for?"

Florence's POV

"Everything, the past week, coming here with me being so great with my family."

Y/n, just looks at me. "Not a problem at all. I've actually had a lot of fun." Y/n looks away from me, looking up.

It feels as if we stand there for hours just looking at the stars. "I feel very at peace with you, Flo." Looking up at them. I see their already looking at me.

I feel as though all the air has been sucked out of my lungs. Their hand reaches for mine. The silence grows. louder as they pull me towards them.

"Flo, all I've thought about for days is kissing you. I know we said that we wouldn't get involved in any way, but... I don't want to stop myself anymore." Before, I can comprehend what's happening. My hands are tangled into their hair, and I melt into them. Their soft lips on mine something I didn't realise I was waiting for.... Something I didn't realise I really wanted...
