Lillie's POV
I woke up early and went downstairs. So Rose died and Stefan was trying to get into contact with Isobel. Anyway today Elijah promised we could hang out. But first breakfast. I freeze when I see Uncle John in the kitchen. "Uncle John?" I say confused and he smiles.
"Hello Lillie, how are you?" he asks me.
"I'm fine, though confused. I didn't know you were back in town" I tell him.
"Stefan was trying to get into contact with Isobel and got me" he states. He then turns on the news. I see Carol Lockwood on screen.
"Due to the recent tragedies that have plagued our town, we will be holding a memorial in Town Square today to honor all those we have lost. Join us and hope that as a community we can begin to heal" she states. Elena appears and John turns to TV off.
"Morning Elena" I say as I grabbed an apple.
"Morning" she says to me before looking at John. "What are you doing here?" she asks him. As I made myself a bowl of cereal.
"Coffee?" he says offering her cup.
"We're not doing that. We did that last night. No more avoiding. Why are you here?" she asks him. As I ate my cereal at the table.
"I'm here to protect you. That's all I can say for the moment" he states.
"What do you mean that's all you can say?" Elena asks him.
"I'll tell you more when I'm convinced I can trust you" he states. We hear Alaric and Jenna coming down stairs. Jenna complaining about being late for something.
"That's what you get for hitting the snooze three times" Alaric tells her with a chuckle.
"What the hell?" Jenna demands when she sees Uncle John. Guess she didn't know he was here.
"Good morning to you, Jenna. Alaric" John says.
"It's okay I'm confused, right? Because we were not expecting you, like, ever" Jenna states.
"Well, I got in late last night. Elena let me in" he states.
"You know, I'm uh, probably just gonna take off" Alaric states. He looks at Elena and I, before leaving.
"I'm still confused here" Jenna states.
"I decided to come back and stay for a while" John tells her.
"Not here, you're not" she tells him.
"Actually, you can't stop me from living here" he states.
"Actually I can, as legal guardian" Jenna states.
"Yeah, about that...um, Elena, you want me to explain the situation, or would you like to do the honors?" he asks Elena.
"What are you talking about?" I ask confused.
"Yeah, what's going on?" Jenna asks the pair.
"I'm sorry Lillie, Jenna. I should have told you both earlier, but" Elena tries to say.
"I'm Elena's biological father. There, now you both know" John states. Before leaving.
"What?!" Jenna and I demand looking at Elena.
"How could you not tell me this? You told me when you were adopted and about Alaric's dead wife Isobel being your mother. But you thought I didn't need to know that Uncle John is your dad?" I ask my older sister.
"I'm sorry Lillie" she says.
"Whatever, I'm going out" I tell them and left. I take out the phone Damon had gotten me and called Elijah. We then meet up at the square.
"You seem troubled Little Nora" he says.
"Elena just told me that our uncle John is her biological father. I thought we had no more secrets. Yet she didn't tell me when she found out" I tell him.
"Maybe she wanted to protect you" he suggests.
"From what? There was no danger in knowing who her biological father is" I state. "It makes me wonder if she's hiding anything else" I tell him.
"I'm sure she had a good reason" he assures me.
"Lets not talk about it, can you tell me more about Nora's life?" I ask him.
"Of course, anything in particular?" he asks me.
"Who was Henrik?" I ask curious and he freezes briefly. Before sighing.
"Henrik was my little brother, Nora's twin" he tells me.
"Is he a vampire like you?" I ask him excited. I've never had a twin before.
"No, he died before our family became vampires. He died the same day as you did Nora" he tells me. "Except he didn't have Ayana to help him with his dying breath" he states. This makes me sad as tears prick my eyes. "Lets talk about something else" he tells me.
"What was my relationship like with Rebekah?" I ask him.
"Similar to your one with Elena from what I can tell. Though Rebekah never kept a secret from you. You both shared secrets, that you kept from the rest of us" he states.
(Time skip)
It's night time and I get a call from Elena. "Yes?" I ask.
"Where are you?" she asks me. Sounding worried.
"With Elijah" I state.
"Oh thank god, I thought they got you too" she says sighing in relief.
"What are you talking about?" I ask her confused.
"Caroline was kidnapped by wolves. Stefan and Damon went to save her" she states. "Stay with Elijah" she tells me before hanging up.
"Elijah, they need help" I say pleadingly.
"I'll send Jonas, they'll be ok" he assures me. He then called Jonas and told him the situation, before hanging up. "There, taken care of" he tells me.
"Thanks Elijah" I say with a smile. "Can you take me home?" I ask him. He nods his head and took me home. I go inside and see Elena talking to John. I left them alone and went to my room. Soon Elena calls me down. I come down to see her with Stefan.
"I could use both of your help" Stefan states. Elena and I grab our pillows & Pjs. Before we got Bonnie and Stefan took us to Care's house. Stefan went to talk to Care while we grabbed our things from the boot. We head over to them. "Good. But, just in case, I brought some back up" he tells Care and she spots us.
"We're gonna slumber it!" Elena declares.
"We haven't done it in ages" Bonnie adds.
"It'll be fun" I add. Care begins to cry and we all hug her. As Stefan left.
