I burst out the door, with various spell books in my saddlebag. I started out galloping, then broke into a run. I have a faster way.

I spread my wings, and took off at a ridiculous speed. A left that sparkly purple trail, but I didn't want that barrier to form. I didn't have time to bounce off it. I flew as fast as I ever did without forming the barrier. But then I realized. Where IS Mount. Soleil?

I need a library. There was a large one close to my house. I burst through its set of double doors, an looked at the gigantic library around me. I don't have time to search.

I trotted to the librarian. She was a pink pegasus with her yellow mane in a bun. "Where can I find a book about mountains? Specifically one that has Mount. Soleil in it."

She smiled. "I'll find it for you. You don't plan on raising the sun yourself, do you?"

I didn't get it, what does she mean? She walked to the aisle on the right and flew up to the top shelf. She grabbed a dark blue book and handed it over to me as I said, "What do you mean?"

"If you read the part about Mount. Soleil, you'll understand."

The library was nearly deserted. I guess nopony visits at this time of the day. I plopped myself on a chair, turning the pages of the book worriedly. Mount.Soleil... Mount.Soleil.... There! I placed my hoof on the page.

Mountain Soleil

One of the most well known mountains in all of Equestria. Located somewhere near the outskirts of Canterlot, it was stood on by Princess Celestia herself while she raised the Sun. It's name: Soleil, comes from the French word for Sun. There is also another mountain named after the moon, and was used by Princess Luna to raise the moon.

There have bin great events in the history of Equestria located on Mount.Soleil, for example....

I needed no more rubbish. I closed the book, and placed it back where it belonged. All I needed was a map of Canterlot that showed Mount.Soleil on it.

After I looked at a map of Canterlot, I hurried out the library and took off.

The joys of flying were nothing to enjoy now, in such a situation. But I couldn't help but feel the wind in my mane and the impact of the air crashing into my face like waves.

Once I got to Canterlot, I teleported to Mount.Soleil. I looked above me. It was gigantic. It must be a tourist's attraction. And it is. There was a sign at the base of the Mountain.

Mountain Soleil.

Height: 10 km 348 m.
Base Circumference: 1 km.

Wow, that was a stunning height. But I was here for no hike. The snow capped mountain rose above me, it's rock tinted a shade of blue. The sun was shining, making the rocks shimmer like it's not the dull material it is.

Meet us at the eastern side of Mount.Soleil.

I made my horn glow. According to my magic, the eastern side was the opposite to the side I'm on. I flew as fast as I can, circling the base, to the other side. I don't see anypony here.

Shadows. Shadows were moving around me, then I heard whispers. Somepony was coming.
"Hello?" My voice echoed. "Who's there?" I was knocked to the ground, and three ponies in black were infront of me. I couldn't even tell what color or gender they all were.

The middle one jammed a small gel-like ball in my face, and I blacked out.

I woke up in a small cell. All my hooves were in cuffs that were connected to a wall. A pony in black was next to me, his or her face expressionless. And so was the pony's voice. I couldn't tell the gender from the voice either.

"You'll come to see your filly." The pony unscrewed my cuffs, and led me out the door. Why did they cuff me in the first place?

"Before we enter, we have a deal. Your magic, for the filly." The pony said.

"Why? I can already see some magic was involved in this. Powerful magic." I replied.

"And so is yours. Your magic added to ours is a tremendous power."

The metal door opened. Inside, laying on the floor, was a bloody filly, with nailed-on hoofcuffs, a torn wing, a bloody, dirty bandage on the chest, chopped off tail, a broken backhoof, and everything was bleeding.
