It's been exactly 813 years since I died in my first life. So far I've lived many lives since then. How? Well I'm the Mistress of Death.
When I died I thought I was finally able to be with my family but I ended up waking up in some unknown room on an unknown bed
There was a man sitting in a chair next to the bed with a book in his hand. He turned out to be Mortimer or in other words Death.
He explained that the reason I was there was because I was his new Mistress his new equal
Apparently he was waiting a very very long time for me
He told me the truth about everything from my first life about the betrayal, lies, and a million other things
He said it hurt to not be able to do anything and to watch me suffer but it couldn't be helped
After he told me anything I was a bit hesitant
Especially after everything I had been threw but he reassured me
I've also lived many lives since then but I always remember what he said to me in the beginning
"You'll get the revenge you deserve my daughter"
So now I just wait until the time I'm able to go back and do it all again
"Lils" I huffed at the voice next to me before turning on my other side and dozing back off
"Lils it's time to get up" I felt a hand running through my raven colored hair which was probably messy from sleeping
I had just came back from my last life five months ago dying from a sickness which was incurable I was a queen in that life and my throne was passed on to my daughter since I only had one son and he was the youngest I only had three kids in total
I had a son the first time he was my oldest but died when he was 5 after the carriage we were in was ambushed by bandits hired but our neighboring countries queen
In that life I believed in an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, but payback in all
So to get back at her I did what I had to do and that was killing her
To be fair she started something that she should've finished
She had no heirs therefore because I apparently had the blood of one of the past kings I was able to claim the throne therefore solidifying the two kingdoms and countries themselves
No one had any objections aside from the Protestants who I killed off because they tried to launch an attack
My second child was my daughter the current queen I had her two years after my oldest died then after another two years I had my youngest son
So yea let's just say that life was a bit of a nuisance but I do love my kids of course
Now let's get back to this annoying pesky bug
"I will light you on fire" I mumbled against their chest as they laughed again
If it wasn't obvious yet the person I'm referring to is Mortimer or Death my father well father figure but same difference
"We both know that would do nothing"
"Why must you annoy me so early?" I asked as I tilted my head up my eyes fluttering open red meeting grayish green
"I promised you revenge remember" my eyes that I had closed again were now wide open
"You mean?" he nodded making me hop out of bed and run off to get ready
"Good morning to you too Lils!" He yelled as the door slammed shut
After 800 years I'd finally get my revenge and I honestly could not wait
