The pain became serious and unbearable, and I visited the doctor. She has advised some routine check ups. I am sitting free waiting for the report while my mom looks at me and says ' lily, it's all going to be okay, just be calm, I know after the things happening right now you are quite stressed' it's all gonna be fine.'
Mom was never this confident, I wish she had the same courage to stand against the abuse she faces every time.
