Together Again

You get home after a long, interesting day at work. You realise that this is definitely the career for you and you're so happy you are working at New Hope Hospital alongside your long lost mother! You couldn't wait to finally reunite with her and tell her who you were but you weren't sure how to tell her. You didn't even know if she wanted anything to do with you, maybe she set up the kidnapping to get rid of you.. No way, surely she wouldn't do that, your just overthinking Y/N. You decide to get an early night and think about how to tell her your her daughter. It's very nerve wracking but also so exciting you can't wait to find out more about her and her family. You slowly drift to sleep whilst in a spiral of your thoughts.

You woke up to the chimes of your alarm and the sun blinding you as you open your eyes, you loved the sun so you knew it was going to be a great day which was a good sign. You hopped out of bed and into the warm relaxing shower. Afterwards you did your hair and put on your scrubs for your second day as an intern at New Hope Hospital. You're loving life in New York so far it's been your dream to live in New York every since you were a kid, (also to be in broadway but highly doubt that will happen). You decide to walk to work today to calm yourself down and get some vitamin D. As you approach the hospital you see your mother and Arizona in the distance. You feel chills all down your body, you've never felt this nervous in your life. You walk into the hospital and you are still on Dr Robbins service so you meet up with your fellow interns/friends Marley and Jenna. They seem really excited to be back at the hospital, they also ask you why you seem so nervous but you don't tell them why as you don't want anyone to know incase they tell Callie before you can.

Dr Robbins decides to let you all watch her do a heart transplant on a kid which is a lot worse than watching it on and adult. Dr Robbins does this so we all have thicker skin when doing surgeries which is pretty smart. The surgery has you feeling lots of different emotions, nervous, excited, anxious it's so thrilling. It makes you want to run down and help her, at the end of the week she is picking an intern to assist her on a surgery and you're hoping its you.

After the surgery she tells you to go for lunch but you decide to go looking for your mother. You check the E.R first as thats where she was yesterday but you can't see her. You turn your back but then feel a rush of wind as a gerni comes in as you're about to leave. It's going to fast you can't even see who's pushing it all you see is two eyes which make contact with yours. Then you see the gerni stop moving and the person who was pushing it looks directly at you. You look back at her and realise it's your mother. "Y/N?" she says in a quiet, happy, emotional voice.
"Yeah it's me" You reply in the same tone as her..

Well that was an emotional one! Sorry for not updating in so long hopefully I will update more frequently now, but hope you all enjoyed this chapter. Let me know what you want to see happen next as I want to incorporate as much of your ideas as possible ☁️🤍
