Death is important
So scared.. but why?
Everyone dies.
Babies, children, teenagers, adults. Elders.
Everyone.
Dies.
I waited for someone to come and announce something. Amanda, Maybe.
Nope.
Nobody.
I decided to walk around a bit. It'll Get my mind off things, If anything.
I saw Aiden, but I decided not to talk to him. It didn't seem like anyone wanted to talk.
I passed the office like room, and Kazuki, Pepper, Michael and Vivian were talking in it. Pepper noticed me wandering around.
"Hey Lance! What's up?" She said happily as i shrugged. "Just Passing time. How about you three?"
Vivian looked towards the window.
"Talking about the potential outside." She said calmly. "And trying to convince Michael to speak."
We all looked expectantly at him.
...
...and received no answer.
"He was talking just fine when i met him." I told them. "Yeah, but it seems that was the last time he decided to speak."
"Kazuki thinks it's because of Social anxiety or it's trauma related." Pepper said, Pointing to the large man next to her.
Kazuki nodded. "She's correct, that's exactly what i believe." He said as he looked at Michael, who was glaring at him. "I may need Karin's help determining what it is, though before I can do anything to help."
Michael rolled his eyes and looked outside.
From outside, I could hear running of multiple people. Along with cheering and laughter.
"Whats that?" Kazuki asked. I smiled. "Probably Megumi, Hazu and Kiki. They were playing last I checked.
Vivian smiled. "How sweet! I guess they're trying to let Kiki do things a normal child does."
"Well, Megumi and Hazu themselves are children too! Even if they're older. Megumi is about 14, And Hazus 13." Pepper said cheerfully. Vivian Nodded. "You're correct. But most children their age would try to stop being childish."
Just then, The door slammed open.
"WE HAVE ARRIVED!" Megumi said dramatically, Wielding what looked to be an extended cardboard part of a paper towell roll. Hazu had a paper towell roll too, And a piece of cardboard he was holding up as a shield.
Kiki also had a paper towel roll and "shield", but... She looked completely different. She was dressed in a silver and and black 'dress' (it was obviously meant to be a shirt, but it was so long on her it worked as a below-knee dress.) with white socks, And her hair was... Semi brushed. It was still matted and tangled, but you could tell someone tried to fix it. She was wearing cute little black shoes, Too. She still was dirty, and her homemade bandages stuck out. She looked like she was supposed to look like a knight.
Kiki automatically ran over to me.
"Lance! Lance! Look! A-am i pretty?" She asked excitedly. I knelt down to her height. "Very. And very adorable!"
