The Other Two (Maximum Ride FF)

Third Person Pov

The Flock stared at the two other bird kids. Iza seemed to be looking at them, but Fang could tell she was looking for an escape root.

"Don't run. We aren't gonna hurt you." Fang said, breaking the overly awkward silence. Iza looked at him skeptically. She didn't trust anyone but Drake, and after what she has been through, who could blame her.

"No offense, but we were there longer than you. So you can understand why we wouldn't really trust you right off the bat." Said Drake, stepping slightly in front of Iza to protect her.

"It's fine. What are your names?" Max said looking at them with a smile that said 'i-don't-trust-you-either'.

"Izabella and Drake." Said Angel, poking her head out from behind Gazzy. The two looked down, Drake with surprise from hearing her voice and Iza with a practically undetectable smirk. If not for Fang, the Flock (minus Iggy) never would have noticed. Angel smiled up at her.

"Just call me Iza. And you're cuter than in the pictures Angel." Iza said, giving Angel a genuine smile back, making Fang blush ever so slightly. But Max noticed.

Max Pov

Ohh? Hmmm....interesting. I'm glad he found someone he likes. I just can't help but think of him as a brother. I've got to find a way to keep them with us. Besides they seem good at fighting. And I ship it >w<

Third Person Pov.

"By the way, can someone please tell me what going on?" Iggy finally asked. Gazzy explained, with some very funny sound effects making Drake smirk and Iza giggle.

Nudge Pov

OMG!! He's sooo HAWT! I couldn't stop staring when we first saw each other, and I swear that everything else disappeared. WAIT! ISN'T THAT HOW PEOPLE DESCRIBE FALLING IN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT!! OH PLEASE LET HIM LIKE ME BACK!!!

(A/N god that was sooo out of character for me to write! It was soooo weird!)

Fang Pov

Oh god it feels like my heart is gonna break ribs. Her smirk is adorable, but her smile is amazing. Her giggle sounds like bells. She was amazing when I first saw her, but now.... god I really hope she can't hear my heart.

Third Person Pov

"Pink paint grenades?" Iggy said "I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship!"

"Haha, I'd like that, but they're still after us. We wouldn't want them to find you guys because of us." Said Iza with a forced smile. Drake nodded next to her, sneaking a glance at Nudge, which Iza caught. Pain flashed through her eyes and her fake smile faltered just enough for Max and Fang to catch it. The two looked at each other and nodded.

"It's fine. We have a better chance fighting them off together." Fang said, beating Max to it. Max remained calm on the outside, but inside she's ripping Fangs head off for cutting her off while simultaneously fangirling at how much Fang wants Iza to stay.

"Sorry, but I can't risk it. I'd feel horrible for getting you caught in our mess." The two turned and started walking when Angel voiced out one thought.

"Well that's to bad. Max's mom, Ms. Martinez makes the best chocolate chip cookies ever. Iza stopped mid-step and Drake turned to her smirking. He held up one hand and started counting down.

2....

1.... "Well maybe hanging out with you guys for a little bit wouldn't be too bad....fine, you win." Iza said, silently cursing her love for chocolate chip cookies. The Flock and Drake started laughing, even Fang, at her change in decision when cookies were mentioned.

"I'll...uhh...get to try those cookies, right?" Iza asked, making them laugh harder.

"You and your never ending craving for cookies. Nice job, Angel." Drake said, ruffling Angels hair as she smile up at him. He went and stood next to Nudge, who tried and failed to not blush. Which made a tint of pink, unnoticeable unless you were looking for it appear on his cheeks. Now it was Iza's turn to laugh lightly. He sent her a playful glare. It was getting dark out, so they all went down towards a spot in the subway system the two had been staying at for a while. After building a fire with Iza pyrokinesis (eliciting a gasp from the flock and jealous mutterings from Gazzy about how he wanted to do that too)  they started talking about whatever.

"So, you guys said that you had been there longer than us. When did you escape?" asked Gazzy hesitating slightly. Iza sighed.

"A little over a year ago." everyone else gasped. They were shocked that anyone there could survive that long. Nudge placed a hand on Drakes shoulder, and he placed one of his over hers, looking down after smiling at her. After that everyone went to sleep for the night, knowing tomorrow is gonna be....eventful.
