Ben stepped closer to Ella being sure to keep a fine distance since Jay still unnerved him just a little bit. "It's not a power play, I don't think you're stupid." He lowered his voice, "please they risked a war just stepping into Auradon," his whisper was pained and soft.

Ella thought for a moment and then beckoned all her friends over, they huddled and talked in hushed voices knowing everyone was listening. She turned back around, arms crossed, biting her lip and tossing her head from side to side, "we will try and do so," her best attempt at a peasant smile on her face but everyone could tell it was forced by the way her lip was twitching.

So later the four kids sat at different tables away from the crowd but close enough that they could leave easily if they wanted to and close enough to each other in case they wanted to retreat. No one said anything for a long while. "So," Eugene cleared his throat. It should be so much easier than this to talk to his own children but sadly Adam destroyed that privilege. He came to realize that that was what his life had become: a series of privileges, it was a privilege to talk to his own children. "What do you like to do?"

Ella sat with perfect posture, her legs crossed and a racoon like Ruddiger over her lap. Ryder leaned back with his arms crossed and a raven on his shoulder. "I draw mostly, I like to paint when I can make it." She said in a soft wistful voice. At the same time her parents noticed that her voice was gravely and hoarse. As If she had spent her life screaming and crying.

Their son yawned, then replied with disinterest, "I mostly just spend time with my girlfriend helping her work and such."

Ella sucked her teeth, crossed her arms and turned away from him, "you're too good for her."

Ryder rolled his eyes but didn't reply to her, "Help her at work or with her crew."

"Crew?" Eric asked his son.

Aaron nodded, "we all got picked up after they abandoned us."

Ariel looked startled, "Abandoned?"

He nodded again this time feigning solemness, "12 years ago they stole us out of our beds at night, threw us all into an armored car, drove us to the heart of the isle, dropped us in the middle of the street and drove off. We stayed on the streets for a week before we were picked up."

"Who took you all in?" Melody asked her brother and worry lacing his voice,

"Allow me to properly introduce myself." Aaron gave his trademark smirk, it reminded the VK's of Harry when he was out for blood, "Aaron Hook nice to meetcha." his eyes glowed dangerously, his normally sea green eyes rimmed with red. He looked insane, he looked broken, he looked ready to kill. "I have two sisters, one younger and one older and an older brother," Ariel and Eric decided to not mention the look in his eyes; it was only natural that he would be a little messed up, all things considered. Their minds flew back to when Aaron was a toddler, when they wanted more children. Maybe they could get Ben to keep this program open and maybe they could give these kids a home, maybe it could even bring their son home too.

Flipping her tarot cards between her hands she introduced herself to her parents and brother. "Jazzy Facilier at your service," she knew her voodoo dolls probably wouldn't be taken lightly so she covered them with her jacket. "I have two younger sisters, named Celia and Freddie," she talked about them with such admiration. "I hope when all this is over, they'll be able to come here, they'd love it."

Petting his raven's head, the youngest properly introduced himself to his parents, "Ryder Gothel- Westergaard," he said with no emotion both of his parents sucked in a breath. "We technically have a sister but don't really talk to Ginny. We don't like her, and she doesn't like us."
