Chapter 4 - Order

The team made it home after a very successful mission. The foundation is please and has be told to give some news. "Intergalactic-4, one of the sisters is within the facility today and would like to debrief you on the next step of the plan, she can be found in the war-room where you were briefed of your last mission. Goodluck with the rest of your tasks, I'll see you during the final assault." Dwayne walks past Mars toward the exit. "Where are you going?" Asked Jones, the foundation turned to him and put his helmet on, sternly he said "to find geno." And the door shut behind him. The team were pretty shaken by his smouldering eyebrow raise, "he's pretty intense, huh?" Midas said "yeah, way too serious." El laughed.

Jones and Mars looked at eachother and nodded they guided the team to the war-room for debriefing. As they reached the door both Jones and Mars reached for the handle touching one another's hands. They both looked at eachother embarrassed and looked away nervous and blushing, "uh- sorry Mars, I'll get the door..." They walked though the door and that's when Mars realised 'oh no... he's kind of cute'

"You guys must be what I'm hearing alot about recently, Intergalactic-4 hm? Odd name, anyways. Good job on your last mission" the voice said from the chair. "Are you all up for round 2?"
Asked the voice. "Yes commander!" The team stated. "Perfect" the chair span round to reveal that one of the sisters the order was sat in Jones chair. "OK so you've planted the charges now we need the intel you guys couldn't get last time you were down on the warzone. This time you'll have backup but you must stay vigilant. We need to retrieve some files on who's running this army, because we know its not geno, he's busy with other projects, thats why dwayne is on that task. Someone else is behind this. Someone sly. I need you to figure out who. There's a server room in the lower 3rd floor of the base. Get there and download the data from the 'zeropoint' files and we got our Intel. Sound doable?" Asked the order.

The team nodded in collective and were sent to their personal quarters. Midas and el shared a room and Jones and Mars shared a room.

The 4 were exhausted and needed a Well deserved break. Midas and el fell asleep on the sofa leaning against eachother with hands held with the TV on and as for Jones and Mars, well Jones was treating Mars wounds with the medkit he had stored away. "How've you been holding up?" Jones calmly asked. "Not too bad, just stings" Mars explained. "Make sure you don't push yourself alright 'hero'?" Jones told Mars, they looked into his eyes and smiled, "I won't, I promise."

Jones pulled Mars in for a hug and whispered in their ear, "I'm so proud of you, you're my hero."

Mars fell asleep in Jones arms and the two cuddled for the rest of the night.
