It is night time in the mansion and everyone else is having a great time. Darkness and Megumin we're playing chess just right behind Kazuma who was sitting on the couch enjoying the fire.
Megumin: Fufufu...
She places a chess piece forward. Darkness while humming to herself placed her chess piece forward and ended up taking 2 of Megumin's chess pieces.
Megumin: WAAA!! Darkness! That's not fair!
Kazuma was just staring at the fire groaning to himself.
Megumin: All right, then... Very well, very well. Go ahead and do as you please.
But that wasn't until Aqua and Zoren came along.
Aqua: Hey, Kazuma. Relinquish that spot to me, the exalted Aqua-sama and his loyal follower, Zoren-sama.
Kazuma: Huh?
She pulls out her adventurers card and flexes it, showing it to Kazuma with smug look on her face.
Aqua: I'm level 21, the highest level in the party. You're being awfully impertinent for an under-leveled lowbie.
Zoren then approaches Aqua and puts his hand on her shoulder.
Zoren: I hate to break it to you Aqua but...
He pulls out his adventurers card revealing his level.
Zoren: I'm level 25, so that makes me the highest level in the party.
Aqua: L-Level 25?!
Zoren: Yup! Don't think I've slacked off just because we attained a mansion. I've been doing quests on my own every now and then so I pretty much gained a bunch of EXP.
Aqua: B-But still! Kazuma should relinquish his spot to us! If he gets that, then he should give the spot nearest the fireplace to his superiors!
Kazuma: God, he's got such an annoying girlfriend. Huh? I don't think your stats have risen at all since I first saw them.
Aqua: Kazuma, you fool! My stats were obviously maxed out from the very start! You're mistaken to lump me together with ordinary adventurers.
Zoren then looks back to see Megumin and Darkness still playing chess.
Megumin: Looks like my only choice now is to whip out my deadly teleport!
