"What no your out of your mind he said walking past me."

"Look we both know I have a shit ton of experience with peace negotiations. Way more than you do seeing as your only friends with 2 out of 5 of the kingdoms neighboring you."

"I'll give you that but this is a whole new arena the people in our homelands are different. These people crave war here. It's truly hard to obtain peace with them they want a lot. We have a balance here I do not want to tip the scales in my enemies favor y sending him my future queen."

My eyebrows quirked at the future queen part but I'd let it go.

"Look I can handle myself hello celestial being here" I said motioning to myself.

He sighed "your not gonna let this go are you ?"

I shook my head "not in the slightest trust me I can handle myself."

He finally agreed an then we launched our attack waited a couple of days before sending for a peace treaty. An that's how I found myself in front of King Nev talking peace negotiations. But I could tell he wasn't going to give in like he had something up his sleeve little did he know I did too if he tried anything. They offered my cakes and a hibiscus lemonade when I first arrived. I'd declined the cakes and just opted for the beverage that had became my favorite drink at the palace it was quite delicious.

I sat the cup down after taking a drink of it and began talking once more trying to glean what he was trying to accomplish here but he kept talking around my questions.

"Look what is it that you want I asked out right."

He paused raising a brow "I want what is mine"he said.

Before I could goto speak my tongue felt super heavy my eye sight got blurry.

I heard King Nev tell someone to take me to the dungeon.

When I awoke I was on a floor the cold earth helping to ease the headache and wooziness I felt. I got up stumbling to my feet to clutch the bars as I called out. I glanced around 3 solid walls surrounding me a window also with bars showed it was night time. How long had I been out it was day time when I last was awake.

King Nev came into sight he whistled "you look in a dis array queen Victoria" he said chuckling.

"Why you..." I raised my hand through the bar and tried to call forth my power thing was I just couldn't. "What in the hell is going on I raised my hand again stretching my hand apart as if that would help.
Your powers won't work I gave you a sedative that won't wear off until a day later had to rectify the playing field he said walking away. I've sent a ransom on what I want from your so called king earlier just wanting for him to reply with a yes."

"It seems he was right about that" he said to himself but I caught it.

"We had a mole amongst us I thought about my next move. How else would he have known about that it's one of our most precious secrets."

I heard the sound of a sword clanging against the bars and turned around to see some fat balding man smiling at me.

"Piece of trash you should've stayed in a woman's place." He said shaking his head but you know what "I'll teach you what your good for" he said unlocking the gate and coming inside. I Shriveled into the corner playing docile so when he cane towards me I sprung off the ground scratching his face I tried to knee him in the balls but he was quicker as if he'd been in this situation before and k ew what my mind would goto.

I screamed but he put his hand over my mouth shut up bitch. He pulled my dress up and shoved his pants down. Tears springing to my eyes as the unthinkable was about to happen.

That's when we heard an explosion he stopped pulling his pants up quickly. Stumbling to leave I had to take this chance but it's like fate beat me to the punch. All you heard were screams echoing down the hall.

"What the hell is going on" he said stepping out of the cell. As soon as he went out of eyesight I heard his blood curdling scream and saw blood splatter the walls.

I shrunk into the corner trying to make myself as small as possible. The thud of whatever it was feet thundered loudly as it came closer. When it came into view I gasped it was some reptilian beast. It stood at least 8ft tall. It had spikes from the top of its head to the tip of its tail. It's scales were luminescent and white it's eyes pure black as it stared at me. It felt like an eternity but it had only been 2 minutes when it let out a roar so defeating I had to cover my ears if I ever wanted to hear again.

It came into my cell and snatched me up and then it burned through the walls of the cage. It had been squeezing me so hard it made me pass out.

"Vic I heard Vic wake up please oh god what have I done please wake up" he said urgently.

I blinked to see Gideon standing over me he looked relieved as he sat back.

Memories coming back to me I sat up quickly looking around.

"Gideon where are we ?! We have to go there's something out there this .... This monster" I said truly scared.

He backed away from me sitting in a chair in the corner he looked down at his hands.

"It's gone" he said his voice hollow.

"Where could it have gone it's on the loose "I said scrambling to gain my bearings. We were in a tent it would seem it was very barren a war table was there also that was for sure. I'd always be able to tell what those were growing up with the parents I had.

"What's going on I asked confused by his careless words.

I'm ....im ...I'm that monster that your scared of that was me I came and got you" he said not looking at me.
