"The reason I wanted to assemble the relic was to change the look of me when I used ...my power. The romance books don't talk about a hideous beast that comes to save them they talk about a handsome knight in shining armor. That's what most of my ancestors ever searched the relic out for amongst bringing their celestial being back from death but none ever succeeded something always getting in their way Gideon said heavily.

That's when it all made sense the other half, the beast within, the scales, power beyond compare and body of steel all of these were what he was referred as in the history book of beings. It all clicked why he was so irritated the book painted him to be evil when you read about him.

"You can run for the hills" he said getting up and going to the war table.

The realization hit me like a ton of bricks I didn't care. I walked toward him and hugged him from behind. "I'm not leaving and I don't care I said. I'll stay with you I'll be your queen I said sure as ever that this was the right decision."

His body tensed and he turned in my arms "really" he asked as if scared it was a dream.

I nodded my head and he let go the most gorgeous smile I'd ever seen. He picked me up spinning me around as he pressed his lips to mine.

The kiss deepened into more our frenzied movement against eachother as we made our way to the bed is just risen from. With our clothes discarded he laid his body on mine before kissing a trail downward. He stopped at each of my breast sucking on my nipples deliriously slow. And then he slid lower partaking of me as my cream leaked out. He lapped every drop of it up. Then he slid my legs farther apart nestling in between them as he guided the tip of himself at my entrance. I took a breath it had been so long since I'd did this I was actually a little shy I looked away but his hand came to my jaw bringing my gaze back to his. An then he began his descent into me moving slowly and with the help of his previous administrations I was slick with my moisture. He began a steady pace before building up and it was exquisite. I couldn't stop my moans from leaving my mouth it felt so good. I wrapped my legs around his waist as I held on his pumps becoming more powerful and building my own crescendo. He leaned down kissing me his tongue dancing with mine. My hands had delved into his hair first gliding over the shaven sides before gripping the long brown waves that were in the middle. His moans of ecstasy pushed me over the edge of oblivion. He followed right after me. We heard a throat clear outside of the tent and we looked at each other and smiled and began to disentangle from each other.

Once we were dressed Gideon called whoever had been waiting outside in. An of course it was Jebediah he came in glanced around and smiled at me. The smile he gave me was lecherous I wanted to immediately vomit.

"My queen" he said bowing
I nodded my head back at him looking else where.

"Gideon are you ready" he asked as he watched Gideon put his sword belt on.

"I am now brother" he said leaving the tent.

Jebediah paused looking at me again smiling before he exited as well. I followed behind them leaving out the tent just to freeze. There was thousands of soldiers lined up dressed in a white luminescent armor very similar to the reptilian beast I'd seen. The tent was set up on top of a hill and just a couple hundred feet away.

I looked to Gideon as he looked back at me "let the war begin" he said as he sounded a horn and the men took off toward the men across the field. Gideon dropped the horn and took off Jebediah along side him.

An that's where I stood helplessly and powerless observing from afar as both sides clashed against one another.

He was an unstoppable force to contend with upon the battlefield. Slaying soldiers left and right an yet so elegantly. This morning replayed in my mind over and over again. The way he touched me was unlike anything I'd felt before. I'd felt shame at that thought but yet I couldn't help it.

I stared at him again an it was like he knew my eyes were following his every move. He turned just in time to catch my gaze blinding me with one of his sinfully delicious smiles. But it was short lived that smile had turned into a gasp of pain an horror. The life in his eyes fading to complete blackness.

I stood at the edge of the battlefield watching in abject horror. When his body descended to the ground who stood there was his brother Jebediah. I blinked I couldn't believe what I was seeing. He'd actually killed his brother how....why? As I stood there shook to the core Jebediah sounded the horn. Everyone ceased fighting looking around at each other.

"The fight is over my brother has fallen retreat" he called. The soldiers were confused except for the enemy. They retreated as told as for Gideons soldiers they dropped next to there fallen king and wept for him. Thousands upon thousands of men taking the knee for their king. I was so moved I'd done it myself.

But the difference was I took a vow to save him. By any means necessary.
