Decorating (Karlnap)

Karl loved the Christmas spirit more than anyone in the world. He loves everything about winter. He loves the Snow, ice, cold, stories, hot chocolate, finding gifts for his friends and family, and his personal favorite, decorating. Karl loved the creativity he could have while decorating for Christmas and this year he could share that with his wonderful lover.

Karl wakes up earlier than usual. The brunette gets out of bed carefully, as to not wake his peacefully sleeping boyfriend up. Karl quickly but quietly makes his way out of the bedroom and starts making waffles in the kitchen. He pulls out the waffle maker and grabs the batter. Karl sprinkles some cinnamon in the batter to add a little Christmas touch. He makes 3 waffles. Two for Sap and one for him. Karl never ate much in the mornings.

Karl starts putting the waffles on the plates before he gets tense by feeling strong arms wrap around his waist. He relaxed immediately as he heard a soft voice mumble into his ear. "Calm down, love" he heard his raven lover say as his brunette hair was messed with gently. Karl sighed in relief and started putting a small square of butter on each waffle and poured a small amount of maple syrup on him and a lot on Sap's. Karl put a small amount of powered sugar in a sifter and tapped the metal object to add a snowy looking effect on the sugary food. He felt Sapnap tub his waist gently as the tired bot kissed his cheek.

Karl turned around and kissed the boy, before slipping out of his lovers grip and put all the three waffles on the dining table. He got a kiss pressed into his hair by his sleepy significant other as a thank you. "Baby?" Karl said, getting his lovers attention. He got a small hum in response and the raven continued eating his waffles. Karl wanted his lovers full attention and he cleared his throat and again said "love" sapnap said "what?".

Karl groaned and stood up, standing next to his lover. "Nick" karl said and pouted. Sapnap immediately looked up. Karl never called Sapnap 'nick'. Ever. Sapnap stood up too and grabbed his lover by his chin, making Karl look up at him. "What is it?" Sapnao said, worry laced in his voice. Karl giggled, craving more of his boyfriends touch. "I wanna decorate" Karl said, giggling and happiness in every word.

Sapnap grumbled and let go of his boyfriends face. "Its still November, Karl" Sapnap said, annoyed that his boyfriend wants to he productive. Karl groaned "but I wanna decorate" Karl whines, dragging out his words and sitting on the ravens lap. Sapnap held Karl's hips and sighed. "Fine" Sapnap said. "I'll get the tree up and you can hang some lights up outside" sapnap said, standing up and gently putting Karl on the couch

Karl jumped up and ran to the basement with Sapnap. Karl grabbed a big box full of Christmas lights, a hammer, and a small plastic box full of nails. Karl ran out of the basement and put his boots on to go outside. He was grabbed by his wrist before he could reach the door knob. Without any words, Sapnap grabbed Karl's thick, purple coat and put it on Karl. Karl giggled. The raven put a white beanie on the boys head. Karl rushed out the door and started measuring out where he would put his lights.

Karl pushed a ladder up the the house and stood on the wobbly wood. Karl string up the colorful lights all around the the house. The lights were pinned to the house and Karl was exhausted. He was freezing and sweating at the same time. Karl was breathing heavily, leaving a foggy smokey looking steam come out of his mouth. Karl giggled and stepped back looking at his masterpiece. The brunette plugged the lights in and watched them glow brightly.

Meanwhile, Sapnap was putting the tree up and flailing out the branches, making it look perfect. He stopped all his actions after he hears the door open and close and slow heavy breathing and a calm, satisfied sigh. The raven turned around to see his red faced, cold boyfriend taking his coat off and snowy shoes. Sapnap sighed and let out a small chuckle. The raven picked up his lover and placed him on the sofa gently.

Karl giggled but got up as soon as he was placed down. "I'm gonna make hot chocolate" karl sang out making Sapnao scoff "make me some too" sapnap said, turning back towards the tree, perfecting it. Karl let out a hum and nodded as he warmed up some water in Sapnaps mug and milk in his. He made the hot chocolate and added a little peppermint, whipped cream and a LOT of marshmallows.

Sapnap dragged a giant box full of Christmas ornaments towards the tree. He opened it and picked out a few he didnt want on the tree. Karl gasped and he put the hot chocolate down and ran over to his lover. The brunette picked up a shiny crystal ball with a purple tinted to it with the words "karlnap" on it. It was something a fan got them a few years ago and Karl treasured it deeply.

"This one is not staying off the tree!" Karl said, angry that it was even in the box with the other ornaments. Sapnap sighed "why?" The raven said, confused on why it was so precious. Karl gasped dramatically. "Because!" karl stomps his foot down like a child "it was made special for us! And it's beautiful. Karl yelled the first part and mumbled the other.

Sapnap sighed "whatever, put it on the tree, hun" he said, chuckling at his lovers ridiculousness. Karl stood on his tippy toes trying to put the perfect ornament on the top of the tree, right below the star. Karl count reach and Sapnap noticed this so he grabbed the purple tinted ball and put it on the branch Karl was reaching for. Karl giggled and kissed his lovers cheek.

Karl put up a few more purple ornaments and a few red, green, blue, and orange ones. The colors looked beautiful. All the ornament were gorgeous but Karl's favorite was his Karlnap ornament. He thought it was the cutest thing in the world. Sapnap lit up the colorful lights and looked at Karl. Karl had that familiar twinkle of love in his eyes. Sapnap rushed into the bed room and put 4 small gifts under the tree.

Kalr got distracted by this and sat next to them. Two were for Karl, one for George and one for Dream. Karl looked up at Sapnap with amazement and love in his beautiful grey eyes. Karl giggled and by then their hot chocolate had cooled down enough to drink. Sapnap chugged his while karl took his time and made sure to drink all of the chocolatey beverage.

The two played down on the sofa after everything was over and watched a few movies. Karl liked watching Harry Potter during the winter because it made him happy. Karl was giggling and smiling at the movie while all Sapnaps focus was on his lover. The light of the tree illuminated on Karl's face, making the precious boy glow. Karl's grey eyes sparkled with love and adoration. Karl played on top and Spanaps chest listening to the raven boys heart beat as he felt the boy beneath him start breathing with a more gentle rhythm. Karl was also put to sleep by the soft, faint sound of Sapnaps heartbeat.

Hiiii, it's almost christmas and I'm really happy. This turned out so good and I'm really proud of it even though it took days to finish. I've been trying to make the oneshots a little bigger if you couldn't notice. I hope you really enjoy this and have a wonderful winter.
