"Good morning Melinda. Oh my goodness. Your bump has grown quite a bit since last time we seen each other." Yeah this little boy is taking over my entire body. "How have you been feeling aside from feeling like you're just a host?" I've been okay which is making me feel crazy. I went from feeling like something is after me to everything is beyond perfect now. How do things shift like that? "Life is just like the wind. Things shift at the blink of an eye. While we focus on one aspect of our lives, the universe is putting things in order that we don't know about until they present themselves. The universe also handles things that cause us fear or halts our very existence as we normally know it."
So my ancestors are kicking ass..... that's your explanation? "Partially. Tell me what have you been thinking of as of late?" My children. My book. My husband....soooo much of my husband. Don't laugh at that. I can't help it. That man is a perfect specimen. I've been thinking of love and everything I have. I've been thinking of how grateful I am. Dean has finally taken the steps to embrace love for the first time in years. Decades. The woman who stole his heart is my assistant. She opened up to me about her life and......I couldn't help but to just focus on my family and those around me. "And that is why you find this time in life to be perfect. You're living in the now and not worrying about the what ifs. You're focused on your love."

At the Collins HomeDean and Lira pulled up to the house after Derrick turned the car off. "This is going to be hilarious," Mel voiced as she looked in the mirror at Lira's face. "I feel bad. She didn't sign up for this. That girl didn't know what she was getting into when she started pursuing Dean," Derrick explained seeing Dean running his mouth. The sound of Niyah trying to get out of her seat was the only thing they heard next. "Hey what are you doing busy bee?" Mel asked. "I want Babu!" "Okay okay. We're going to see Babu. Hold on," Derrick said as he got out. Racing to the other side, he helped Mel out then got Niyah free. The little one rushed to the door and pushed opened it.
"We're about to have 2 of those running around." "And I cannot wait Mrs Collins." "Mmmmm and why couldn't I have gotten some dick?" "You wouldn't have been here in time to see this train wreck," he cupped her chin and turned her to look at Dean demand Lira to get out the car. "I will carry your ass into this house. Let's go!" His voice boomed. "I don't want toooo. I remember the last dinner. Why am I being forced to do this!?" Dean growled as he stared into the passenger side of his car. She had been whining and complaining the whole ride there. This was not an option. If they were taking things to the next level, then they needed to make it known. Her being present more often was that announcement.
"May I?" Mel asked Derrick. "Yeah. She might need a friend." Mel walked over to Dean's car. "Ummmm Dean....." "Not right now Brat." "Derrick needs you real quick." Dean huffed and nodded, spinning on his heels. As he walked away, Mel walked closer to Lira. "You know they will move this dinner outside and I don't feel like having an allergy attack because you want to hide in the car." Lira rolled her eyes and folded her arms across her chest. "Look it won't be so bad. They're going to clown Dean more than anything. This is new for him. Don't disappoint him. He wants to show you off and I know that's hard to understand. It took me a while to get used to it with Derrick. It will go by so fast I promise. They're focus is going to be on him. Come on I'm hungry."
Mel held out her hand, Lira was hesitant to take it but in the end she had no choice. Lira dropped her head when Dean grunted at her for finally getting out the car. He grabbed her hand, giving it a squeeze of reassurance. "Don't act shy now. Just be yourself. Not your persona. I won't let anything happen to you. I won't let Dawn sink her claws into you. Okay?" Dean spoke directly to her after Mel and Derrick walked inside. "Okay," Lira breathed out. Dean captured her lips, calming her nerves even more. Prying eyes watched through the small windows. "Dawn get your ass out the window!" They heard Nan yell. Both Dean and Lira looked in that direction but Dawn had moved just in time. "Really Dean?" "Shush. Come on."
