"I do not like public displays of affection," Theo whispered in explanation as he pressed Maddie against the stone wall of the corridor. Away from the others. He had stolen this moment with her.

"Oh," she said, dazed her insides were fluttering happily.

"How are you?"

"Good." She breathed, nodding.

"Really?" Theo was beginning to smile. It was intoxicating to witness the flush climb her cheeks at such proximity. "You are flushed, darling,"

"Hmm," she hummed in acknowledgment. She felt dizzy. He was so close to her. Theo had never held her like this. Pulled her from a room with such urgency to entertain his wish to be affectionate with her.

She could see his dimples. The experience was exclusively hers. Maddie took great pride in it.

Her lips parted as though to say something. His dimples only deepened.

"I-"

"Yes?"

Her thoughts vanished and a sound of amusement bubbled from her chest. Theo's hold on her tightened possessively as it did.

"What is it?" Theo asked. She shook her head and rose on her toes to kiss him. Her lips pressed against his softly before she pulled away. Theo's eyes were still shut.

"We should go back," Maddie whispered, Theo, shook his head. He didn't like other people.

"Are you all packed for Christmas?" Theo asked, opening his eyes and tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. Maddie nodded. "I am a bit nervous."

"Why? Abuela loves you." A crinkle formed between Maddie's eyebrows. "And I will be there."

"Will we tell her?"

"Tell her what?"

"About us."

"Us? Define us." She said coyly, dark eyes suddenly alight and playful. They had yet to have this conversation. The past few days had been stolen moments with Maddie where her hand was in his and she allowed herself to want him again.

"You know..."

"I do not know. I need you to enlighten me, mi vida, I have never heard this word- Us." Maddie said, holding both his hands in hers.

"Noceda- you know what I mean." Theo stuttered in time with his heart. Maddie released his hands to allow him to sign.

"Us, could be an abbreviation for the United States, and I do not care for Americanos, and my English not so good." Maddie said, shaking her head, Theo wrapped his arms around her lest she slips away from him. She was giggling. Her nails were painted pink, the jewelry she wore was golden, and she had a heart-shaped birthmark on her neck.

We are together signed Theo.

"Meaning...?"

I am your muse.

Maddie laughed, falling forward and wrapping her arms around his neck before kissing him. Theo caught her and kissed her back. He never would tire of kissing Maddie. She always had to pull him down slightly to kiss him or he would simply lift her. He liked the feel of the tights she wore under her skirts, especially the bits he had to push up her skirt to reach. He liked it even more when she wore stockings and he was delighted by her skin.

"I fancy you." Theo whispered against her lips to hear her laugh again.

Theo nodded as she hesitated to touch his face to wipe her lipgloss from it. Theo liked kissing Maddie when she wore lipglosses or lipsticks, it guaranteed him three hundred more seconds of her wiping it from his lips and cheeks delicately.
