"Dad, you know I've never interacted with girls before, right? I mean, besides mom and the maids of course," Kaito muttered, clearly unsure about his father's plan.
The commander laughed heartily, "That's why this is going to be a great challenge for you. Besides, you're a good-looking boy, Kaito. I'm sure you won't have much problem getting a girl's attention."
Kaito groaned, "You're seriously telling me to play the part of a high school heartthrob? And what happens if she realizes that I'm a Takagi?"
"You need to be smart about it. Don't reveal too much about yourself. And most importantly, don't let your emotions get the best of you," the commander instructed.
Kaito sat there quietly, contemplating the magnitude of the task at hand.
"This is going to be a disaster," he sighed finally.
The commander grinned. "Well, that's the fun part. But remember, Kaito, our mission is above everything. Even if things go south, we must not let our identity as Takagis be known."
"Alright," Kaito replied, a determined look forming on his face. "I'll do it. I'll make Miyazaki Kazane fall for me."
The commander patted him on the back, "That's the spirit, son. And remember, you are now a student of Taisho High School. Act accordingly."
"Yes, 'commander'," Kaito replied, emphasizing the last word.
The commander chuckled, "That's my boy."
Meanwhile, at the Ueda headquarters, Kazane was still in shock after hearing her new assignment.
"Attend school? Make a boy fall in love with me? Are you joking?" Kazane exclaimed.
Hikari giggled, "Well, you've been killing people for the past few years. It's about time you did something more... conventional."
"But this is insane!" Kazane argued. "I don't even know how to talk to a boy, let alone make one fall in love with me!"
Hikari sighed, "Kazane, your job is not to make him fall in love with you. It's to make him believe he is in love with you. You have to be smart and keep your emotions in check. You've always been a skilled agent, so I believe you can do it."
Kazane bit her lip, clearly not convinced. "And what if he discovers that I'm a Ueda?"
"Then you'll have to silence him," Hikari replied, her tone turning serious. "But let's hope it doesn't come to that. You'll need to be cautious, Kazane."
Kazane nodded, accepting her new mission. "I'll do it. I'll make him fall for me, and extract every piece of information I can from him."
Hikari smiled, "That's the spirit, Kazane. Remember, no matter what, you're a Ueda. We depend on you."
With that, both Kaito and Kazane began their first day at Taisho High School, unaware that they were about to cross paths in the most unpredictable of ways.
The next day dawned, and Kaito found himself nervously adjusting his new uniform, his gaze fixed on the grand high school building ahead. Having grown up in the strict confines of the Takagi household, the bustling and noisy atmosphere of a high school filled with teenagers was an entirely different world to him.
Meanwhile, Kazane experienced a similar unease. She was accustomed to the serenity and solitude of the Ueda compound, unprepared for the clamor and chaos of a crowded school.
Taking a deep breath, Kaito stepped through the school gates, immediately getting swept up in a sea of students. He glanced around, searching for Kazane but couldn't spot her amidst the crowd. After wandering aimlessly for a while, he finally found his way to the classroom, only to be greeted by an unexpected sight.
