"Tsushima Shūji?"

Shūji tiredly look up to see a man with a white coat calling for him. He shook his mother awake with his unharmed arm.

"Hm..?" The woman woke up groggily from her nap. The two of them had been waiting for around two hours for this doctor to arrive and take care of Shūji, not intend in to fall asleep. "Oh! Doctor Mori! Nice to see you again, this I'd my son, Shūji. He hurt his arm this morning and I wanted to make sure it wasn't broken or fractured."

"Welcome, Mrs. Tsushima, and to you too, Shūji," the doctor smiled gleefully. Shūji on return hid behind his mother. He didn't like this man, nor did he want to be here.

The three of them walked into the doctor's office. Shūji only stared in caution at Doctor.. Mori, was it? Shūji didn't enjoy hurting himself, otherwise he would've made it to where nothing could harm him, well, he does try. Everything just loves going against him. His mother and the doctor kept going back in forth in a conversation that Shūji couldn't keep up with. He opted to look around the room instead. It was a basic room, medication were locked behind glass cabinets and the doctor had a white spinny chair he let his mother sit on. There wasn't much natural lighting. The window was glazed over with hundreds of little squares inside it. Boring.

"Ow!" Shūji cried. The doctor unexpectedly took his hurt arm to examine.

"Apologies, Shūji. I did not mean to hurt you," the man bowed his head to show his sincerity.

"Right..." His mother gently wacked Shūji for the dull and disrespectful response. "Sorry, Mama. It's alright Doctor.. Mori?"

Doctor looked up from Shūji's arm and smiled gently,"You may call me Doctor Rintarou, or Rintarou too."

"Um.. Alright then, Dr. Rintarou," Shūji quietly said. It felt embarrassing to call him that, but he didn't enjoy upsetting his mother. If all went well, she did promise making him his favorite sweet, Dorayaki. His mother loved baking. It had to be her favorite thing in the whole wide world. If only she could do it more often.

Ring ring! Ring ring!

"Apologies, my husband is calling me. I must answer," his mother exclaimed as she hurried out the door, her brown hair flowing behind her. Leaving Shūji and Dr. Rintarou alone.

It stayed silent for a moment, but Shūji felt the need to break it. Before he could say anything though, Dr. Rintarou asked, "I think you've taken notice I am not truly a 'family doctor', correct?" Shūji nodded quietly. "Then I assume you know why you aren't at one then?" Shūji shook his head this time. It had been a complete mystery on why he was at an underground doctor. He heard those kinds of doctor are secretive and help those hiding from the government. Shūji hadn't done anything wrong, so why was he here?

"If you're about to say I am a criminal, I'm not. Not a single person of my family is," Shūji said in such a cute six year old's stern voice. If only his voice could be taken seriously. "If we are being hunted, then why?" Shūji never agreed to any of this. He wished he had a say, even if it meant getting hurt again.

"Well," the doctor started, "your family isn't exactly innocent. You may be, but your grandfather and father definitely are not." He laughed at what he said. "The reason why is because they work for the Port Mafia, and your grandfather just so happens to be their boss, their leader."

Shūji's eyes widened a bit. He had never gotten such a direct and honest response. It felt unnatural. So much so, that he raised his voice at Dr. Rintarou, "If that's true, then why do I have to hide to? Why does Mama have to hide?"

Dr. Rintarou simply smiled. It wasn't a soft smile, but not exactly a mischievous one either. Unfortunately, he couldn't get an answer for his mother walked in right at that moment. Shūji was forced to fit his arm into a cast, how very not fun.

"So, we've got your arm in a cast and your ojiisan's medication," his mother muttered to mostly herself, "So, is that all, or did I miss something, sweetheart?"

"No, I think you got everything," Shūji answered. He didn't quite enjoy today, but he was able to escape alive so what does it matter? The two of them walked home to where the saw his ojii-san taking a brisk walk in the garden. "Jiji-san! We're back!" Shüji ran delightfully into his grandfather's arms with a wide smile across his face.

"Oh, why hello there, dear Shūji-kun! I see you have a cast on your arm, may I ask what happened?" Ojii-san asked, carefully trying not to accidentally hit Shūji's casted arm lying across his chest.

Shūji pouted, "I wanted to get those biscuits Father brought home from France that were in the cabinets, but I fell off the counter." He was still mad at himself.

"Are you at least alright?"

"Of course! I'm not that big of a baby!"

"Yes yes, I know that perfectly well, dear Shūji" Ojiisan smiled. The cherry blossom trees around them were all bloomed, making it seem quite bueatiful to Shūji's eyes. All Shūji could think of was how it was a lovely place to take a photo.

"Jiji? Could we take a picture?" Shūji looked up at his grandfather who he was hugging tightly.

"Oh? Quite random, but sure. Would you like your mother to join in?" Ojii-san looked from his grandson to his daughter-in-law. Still having his happy, soft, kind smile.

"Yes! Or.. Oui! That's how they say 'yes' in French right?"

"I wouldn't know, I'm Japanese young one!"

They laughed together as his mother went ahead and got the camera ready.

"Say cheese!" She said, quickly getting into the picture.

"We look so good! Right sweetheart?" Mother said as she handed the picture to Shūji. All he did was smile at his mother. "Right, now we best get you to bed. Tomorrow, I'll make sure to have those dorayakis ready for you to gobble up!"

"Yippee!" Shūji shouted, "Let's hurry then! I don't want other wait any longer for them!"

Shūji said something else. Though no one heard. All they cared about was sleep and to get up for his mother's sweet baking.
