They all sat around the table, eating in silence, thinking about their next move.

"So what actually happened at the party?" Nic asked as Olivia rolled her eyes again.
"Nothing! I did talk to Vinnie but I didn't mention anything about Matt... Why would I ?" Olivia said slamming her fists on the table.

She turned to Laura and mumbled a quick sorry.

"Then why does he think you guys are together then?" Chris asked as she shrugged.

"Well, after she came from talking with Vinnie, I took her outside," Matt confessed

"Why?" Laura asked feeling curious as ever.

"To talk... She seemed startled so I just assumed she needed space from the party," Matt said nonchalantly as Olivia looked down at her plate not really wanting to look at anybody in this moment.

Madi grabs Via's hand and squeezes.

"I say we let this go. We ignore it until it goes away. I think the fans will be forgetting about this in like 3 days," Madi said as Olivia smiled at her. She turned to Laura, to which she nodded.

"That's all we can really do. If the rumor gets bigger we will have to either confirm or deny it,"

Matt and Olivia shared a look before Olivia spoke.

"It's not true, so denying it,"

"It's been six days," Matt said as soon as Olivia opened her door.

"hello to you too," Olivia said as Matt walked up the stairs to her living room.

He hadn't been up here since they kissed.
They hadn't really talked these past few days. They mainly have been ignoring each other.

"It's been six days and fans aren't letting it go," Matt continued as she walked up the stairs.

"I'm gonna have to call Laura," Olivia said as Matt followed her through her kitchen.

She sat at her table as Matt did the same.
They called Laura via facetime.

"Hello!" Madi said as her face came full screen.

"Oh hi!" Olivia smiled as she set her phone down so the camera can see both her and Matt.

"Hey, Madi!" Matt said and waved at the camera.

Madi waved back, but she was confused as to why they were alone and so close to each other.

"Is Laura around?" Olivia asked as Madi nodded and walked a little bit more.

"Mom! Your phone,"

"Oh... Oh her Olivia and Matt," Laura had the same confused reaction as her mother but smiled anyways.

"So... the fans haven't stopped and it's almost been a week," Matt started.

"Yes, I am well aware,"

"And I really don't like people hating on my relationship with Olivia," Matt turned to look at Olivia who was already looking at him.

"I am sorry Matthew, as a person that cares about you guys. I would say to eliminate all rumors by putting a public statement. But as your manager... I say feed into the masses."

"What?" Madi commented from the side which made Olivia chuckle.

"Numbers have been growing on both of your social medias from people digging for evidence. And people are eating it up. As a manager, my advice would be to post a couple of things hinting but not confirming anything," Laura continued explaining but Olivia's head blurred she wasn't thinking straight.

"So essentially like a publicity stunt?" Matt asked as Laura nodded.

Olivia looked at Matt and then back at Laura.
"But at the end of the day... It's your decision. Just tell me what you guys decide so I am up to date," Laura said as they both nodded.

Soon after they hung up.

It was quiet, too quiet.
Matt heard Luna meowing, he stood up and followed the sound toward her couch.

He picked Luna up as Olivia turned towards him.

"What do you want to do," She asked as he sat down on her couch. Luna cuddled up to his lap as he shrugged.

"I want to do whatever you want to do," Matt said as he looked down at Luna.

Olivia stood up and sat next to him. facing him.

"I say we deny everything," Olivia whispered as Matt looked shocked.

"We forget the kisses happened, and we can be friends. For real," Olivia said as she petted Luna's back.

"Forget the kisses ever happened?" Matt asked as she looked back at him. She nodded as his lip pressed together in a thin line.

"Well... I say we lean into the publicity stunt," Matt gave her a small smile. Olivia couldn't help but blush.

"if you want to forget about the kisses... I understand. I do. But I want to see how our fandom will react to this," Matt excused the fans for him wanting to be closer to Olivia. He wanted to be more than friends. He would never admit that out loud, especially not to her.

"I don't know, I feel like it might end messy," Olivia confessed as Matt leaned in closer.
He smiled at her.

"If it ever gets messy, we back out... Okay?" Matt said as Olivia looked at his blue eyes.
She nodded smiling, and he cheered.
