"How do you feel honey?" Marylou asked the troubled girl in front of her.

"I am fine," She responded smiling weakly.

"Are you sure? You didn't cry once..." Marylou came to the girl's side as the girl looked down.

"I will be fine," She simply responded as Marylou nodded.

Olivia stood up heading to Matt's room.

She knocked slowly.
"Come in!" Chris said as she chuckled.

"Hi," She said as she realized everyone was in Matt's room.
She sat on his bed, next to him.

"How are you feeling Liv?" Chris asked as she smiled; fakely.

"I am fine... What about you guys?"

"I had never been to a funeral before," Nic admitted as Olivia nodded.
"Me either," She said as Matt grabbed her hand.

"What do you think we should do today?" Matt whispered loud enough for everyone to hear.

"I would like to finish cleaning out the house. I only have my room left," Olivia said as they nodded.

"Marcel is coming later today," Nic notified as Olivia nodded.
"Are you excited that you are spending thanksgiving with your boyfriend?" Liv said trying to change the mood.

"I actually am. My parents and Justin seem to love him," Nic smiled gushing over his boyfriend.

---

Matt fiddled with the letter he wrote, 6 years ago.
"What you have there?" Chris said as he walked into his brother's room.

They were left alone in the house.
Madi and Olivia were at Liv's house and Nic and Marylou were picking up Marcel from the airport.

"Nothing!" Matt said startled.

Chris said jumping on his bed, slightly laughing.
"Just tell me," He said annoyed that his brother was acting like a thirteen year old.

"It's just a stupid letter," Matt said as he handed his brother the letter.

"Olivia?" Chris read the envelope as he sat up.

"It's the letter I wrote to her for valentines day in 8th grade," Matt connected the dots for Chris.

"Oh my god!"

"I wanted to give it to her while we were 'fake dating' but we never came to Boston, so I never got the chance to give it to her," Matt said as Chris opened it.

Reading everything inside.

"That was my way of telling her, that us fake dating... was way more than just that,"

"Matt. You have to give this to her," Chris said as he carefully put the letter back in the envelope.

"The night before we found out what happened to Sandy-" Matt started as Chris gave him back the letter.

"I was going to tell her everything... Then... Sandy passed. I just don't think it's the correct moment to tell her," Matt said as he placed the letter inside his drawer.

Chris widened his mouth, agreeing with Matt that this wasn't the best time to tell her, but still very sad.

"So what are you gonna do?" Chris asked as Matt sat back down.

"I don't know... wait?" Matt said shrugging as Chris nodded.
"Just hope she doesn't keep falling for Vinnie,"

---

"Hey! Baby, how are you?"Olivia stepped outside, Vinnie had called her.

"Hey, Vin. I am fine," She said as she rolled her eyes at his nickname.
"Baby. Are you sure?"

"Yes, I am... I'll call you later, I am about to be done with cleaning up-"

"Oh Okay! Talk to you later," he said hunting up on her as she rolled her eyes, going back inside.
"Madi!"

"Olivia!" She said gasping.

"What are you okay?" Olivia said as she ran to her childhood room.
There Madi was, with her floorboard propped open and a box labeled Matt.

"Oh..."

"What is this?" Madi asked as Olivia sat next to Madi.

Olivia went ahead and opened the box, and letters and gifts fall out.
"I always got him shit for Christmas, birthdays, valentines days. He always gave them back to me. He wouldn't accept it," Olivia said as Madi widened her eyes.

"This is all stuff off when we were kids..." She smiled as she grabbed a couple of letters.

"Is this from the famous 8th-grade debacle?" Madi asked smiling as Olivia grabbed what was in her hands.

"Yes! That's when I decided to 'stop trying', that's such a lie," Olivia smiled down as she set everything back in the box.

"Put this in the trash bag," Olivia said standing up as Madi widened her eyes.

"Really?"

"Yep!" Olivia turned around, going back into her old closet.

Madi shuffled the trash bag to make it seem like she threw it away, but she set it in the keep box.
