"You can trust me." (The Next Step 8 x Oc) (Discontinued)

One Song Glory

I am talking to my group as we have all taken our seats apart from Antony and Dylan who are talking to the team members who chose to sit on the other side.
"Well this is going great, what do you think is coming next?" Izzy asks.
"A duet." Jude answers.
"A solo." Jett says.
"A girls group, it makes sense." I say.
"True, true." They all agree. 

"I started in J-Troupe, worked my way up to B-Troupe, then to A-Troupe. It's a dream come true. This team is a dream come true. They have taught me not only to be the best version of myself as a person, but also as a dancer." Richelle says.
"I've practically grown up at the Next Step. I started out in J-Troupe as a nerdy kid with a crush on the best dancer in the Studio. And now I can honestly say that I've met my best friends for life. The Next Step has completely changed my life, I will never, ever forget that." Ozzy says before the dance begins.

We were all wrong it was a full group performance and Amy and Piper are singing with Jude, to prove she is a Triple threat I believe. They are dancing with with balls of light, it's so good. Everybody seems confused as Richelle pushes Ozzy away, does a flip and runs off. Ozzy follows off. Everybody seems to be improvising. 

"I hope everything is okay." I hear Dylan whisper.
"I think it's backstage drama." Antony says. 
"If they don't prove it, then we are screwed." I say. 
"True, True." Xander says. 

They seem to be fine now as Richelle and Ozzy are dancing their duet. Maybe it was a part of the plan.
I listen to the lyrics and think of Heath but regret it almost intently. 
Jude gets up and walks out before Cleo finishes singing.
The duet finishes and it was beautiful.

Jude comes back and gives Cleo flowers and I love how thoughtful my sister is. And I think they got back together because Jude took her bracelet back and they kissed. So adorable.

 Everybody comes out once again and we are all smiling. As they do the rest of the new A-Troupe comes in and sits with us and with Ebby.
"This was supposed to be step three of the plan. My plan..." Richelle starts. "...to prove the doubters wrong. To show the world who we really are and to go pro together as a team. But as a friend told me today, plans change. And sometimes you don't know what a story is really about until you're almost at the end. But this story is not about staying together. It's about loving each other enough to let each other go. "
Richelle and Amy move as the music starts.

Everybody looks like they are having fun and are ready to being their future but will miss the past. I would have loved to get to know these people and their stories, but at least we have Kenzie to help us, right?

We are all cheering them on through out this dance. At the end Lily walks off, then Amy, then Heath, Ozzy, Kingston, Finn, Piper and then finally Richelle. We all give a standing round of applause. It was super fun to watch. They all come running back out to bow.  
"And we're clear." Winnie tells them. "You all basically broke the Internet. Hashtag 'TNS undancelled' is trending. You did it!"
Everybody cheers. 

Moxy tells them they can have a world tour and they turn it down. So instead she offers Finn to join Radiation. Then the Head of the Manhattan institute of drama and dance offers Amy a spot. They are all ready to leave the team. Well maybe not all of them as not everybody has made plans.
