Chapter 5: Rise... Rise!

Y/N's POV

[20 hours before the science fair]

"Ooh! I'm so excited!" I shouted. "Baby, we are going to blow everyone's mind!" I said excitedly at the hunched back. He looks at me and nods his head.

These couple of days I've been messing with him by calling him 'baby'. The actual reasoning behind it isn't because of confusion, it was originally just me messing with him. But, last time I noticed his face glow a shade of red. Which is quite adorable, hence the reason why I still do it.

[Snaps]

"Huh?"

"Hey, Y/N, hello? Y/N to Malaria? Oh good, you're back." Igor stops snapping his fingers in your face. I was currently sitting on the floor. "The evil bone is in, time to take this baby for a ride!" Said the hunchback. I raised my eyebrow, "Well if you insist..." I placed my hands on his tiny waist. "Wha--- This me! The monster!" Igor shouted with a now fully red tomato face. "HAHAHAAHAHHA!!" I laughed my ass off witnessing the scene before me.

"Alright--- Alright, go pull the lever," I commanded Igor, still snickering. He rolled his eyes and pulled the lever.

[Loud thunderbolts shoot onto a metal ball causing it to transfer the energy into the- (just imagine it yourself)]

[Big cool electric lightning idk]

"Rise... Rise!" I chanted, eagerly hoping our invention works. Or else we're screwed.

"It... It didn't work. I-I'm a failure. I'm an Igor!" Igor cried out. "Baby-" I attempted to comfort him until I heard shuffling behind me.

I stared at the giant rabbit monster in front of me, my jaw dropped in absolute shock.
"Get rid of that thing, I don't ever want to see it again!" Igor continued to sob. "Uhm... Baby..." I whispered quietly to him. "What?" He asked as he turns around. Only to be faced with a giant rabbit that looks like it's about to kill them.

"We did it! You did it! Your plan invention worked Igor! Omigosh!!" I cheered as loud as I can, as I was celebrating I also picked up Igor and hugged him. "Can't... Breathe...!" Igor struggles to speak. I realized it and let him go.

"Huh ho! Just you wait, Freddic! Let's see if me and baby's invention will beat you now. I'm going to rub that silly face of yours in number too!" I continued to celebrate while Igor was test-running the beast.
