Chapter 6: Winner!

Igor's POV

[In the backrooms of the science fair arena]

I am currently checking up on Scamper and giving him another test drive before the big fight. "Baby, stop worryin' so much. Everything will be fine." Said Y/N. "But I can't help but feel nervous," I told him. "It's all-natural, baby," he started, "every evil scientist has to invent their first invention to fight in the arena before." "Yeah, but what if--- what if he gets beaten by the other inventions?" I asked Y/N, now a bit more stressed out. "Sir, I haven't won a single science fair once," Y/N stated

"Igor, come here." Said Y/N. I was thrown off the bus by this cause I've gotten used to Y/N calling me baby, "Um... Okay." I slowly walked over to Y/N.

Y/N's POV

I scooped Igor off the grown and placed him on some crates. "Whoa!" He yelped in surprise. Our faces were very close and I was between his legs, I can already see the blush and heat radiating from his face. "Now you listen here, babe," I started, causing him to blush even more, "I don't know why you're worryin' so much. Where's that optimistic, charismatic personality of yours gone huh?" I continued as Igor just stares at me.

I felt a hint of flush running up my cheeks, "Your invention is a living creature that is able to destroy anything in its way. Not only is it alive, but you also gave it invincibility, and the evil bone, remember? This beast is practically overpowered! I didn't buy that evil bone from the darkest parts of the black market for nothing! So cheer up, love, you deserve it." I motivated Igor, which seemed to work... Until his face fell flat.

"Did... Did you just call me love---"

"Ladies and gentlemen! The show has begun, let's see what these evil scientists have made this year!"

I smirked at Igor and carried him to one of the pillars where we would stand in. I didn't care if others saw me, today was Igor's time to shine. Let them stare at him as long as they want.

[Once it was Y/N & Igor's turn to unleash their invention]

I hop down to the lever, grabbed it, and gave Igor the nod. I saw the sparkle in his eyes and I didn't want it to stop. "Y/N, pull the lever!" He commanded, and so I did.

"Ladies and gentlemen this might've been the craziest battle of the YEAR because an IGOR'S invention has taken first place from Dr. Schadenfreude!"

I cheered for Igor and put him on my shoulders.

[Y/N & Igor went to a bar to celebrate with Scamper]

As the thunder rumbles up in the sky.

The couple cheered and drank bottles dry.

It was a dark night, with a heavy mist.

The couple's kiss was full of bliss.
