Next Day.
I feel really bad how things were left with Les.
Maybe I was being to harsh. I thought.
It's my first day back to school and I was nervous. I wasn't just nervous about all the stares I was going to get; but I was nervous about seeing Les.
God I feel terrible.
I left Blossom with my Mom because she had the week off from work, and agreed to watch her.
I entered the school and felt thousands of eyes on me. I felt I was the prey and I was being hunted.
I went to my locker and grabbed my books. My eyes immediately caught sight of a picture of Me and Les hanging inside of my locker. It was of us roller skating and I remember I was really nervous that day; but Les helped me to get through my fear.
I remember Les saying "Nothing in life is to be feared. It is to only be understood." I smile at the thought of it.
Then something clicks within me.
I wasn't just scared about falling in love. I just didn't understand what true love was. I thought.
I was being completely and utterly oblivious to Les' love.
I closed my locker and raced to first period to see if Les was there.
I had to tell him.
As I entered first period I scanned the room for Les and he was nowhere to be found.
Where was he? I thought.
I sat down in my usual seat and was disappointed when every person that walked in to the room wasn't Les.
"Hey, Cy!" Lily exclaimed.
"Hi." I said with a monotone.
"What's wrong?" she asked with concern.
I turn to her and say, "Have you seen Les?"
She shook her head and said, "No, Why?"
I let out an exasperated breath and said, "Nothing."

I didn't even see Les in math class either.
Maybe he stayed home?
After I was done changing in to my gym uniform. I made my way outside to the track and field because we were having class outside today.
I didn't really feel like participating today because I was too focused on telling Les how I felt and how blind I was.
"Okay, Ladies and gentleman, we are going to split of into boy's and girl's teams!" Mrs. Freeman ordered.
We did as told and she continued with her instructions, "Okay, girls will be playing soccer with the girl, and the boy will be playing with the boys. Got it!?"
"Yes." everyone said in dreadful unison.
"Okay, go get started!"
Before I started playing I walked over to my gym bag to grab my water bottle. When I opened my bag I saw something I never thought I would see in there. Instead of just my clothes and water bottle being in there. There with all my stuff was...the "Joker vs. Batman" comic book. The one that Les thought I would like...
I pick it up and flip though it. Stopping on a page that had writing on it, and it said:
Maybe this will convince you.
I put down the book and looked up confused and wondered who had put this in my bag. That's when I heard the faint strumming of a guitar over the PA system.
The melodic strumming started to get louder.
Then a melodic male voice started to sing over the PA system, "A hundred days have made me older since the last time that I saw your pretty face."
