Keith POV
My eyes shot open to the sound of my alarm. I groaned. I glanced up at my phone that had been placed on the nightstand. I reached for it, trying to snooze the alarm. With my index finger, I tapped the screen. I rolled onto my back and stretched. I rubbed the corner of my eyes with my fists.I glanced to the side, only to get hit in the face with the light from the sun. I yelped and nearly fell out of bed. I paused for a moment, realizing how stupid that must've looked.
I stood up, glancing around my room. I checked the time on my phone. 8:40...8:40?! SHIT! IM LATE! DID I REALLY SLEEP THROUGH ALL THOSE ALARMS?
I dropped my phone on my bed and rushed out of the room to the bathroom. Without wasting a second, I turned on the shower. I began to get ready.
I walked towards the kitchen, opening the pantry and grabbing a piece of bread. I checked the time. 9:00. Fuck.
I stuffed the bread into my mouth and ran out the door. I paused, realizing I somehow forgot my backpack. I opened the door in a rush and zoomed through the small hallway, glancing around for my bag. I spotted in placed in the corner of the couch.
I snatched it and ran out the door once again, locking it behind me. I darted down the long hallway, my feet thudding against the carpeted floor. I came across the exit. I skidded to a stop, smacking my hand against the handle and throwing it open. I took a breath before running out.
I was about halfway there now. I tried my best to not bump into any strangers walking on the sidewalk. I held my phone tightly, glancing down at it ever so often to check the time.
By the time I got to school, I had already finished the piece of bread I had stuffed into my mouth.
I paused, placing my hands on my knees and panting. Once I caught my breath I began to walk towards the entrance of the semi-short, yet big building. I stepped up the concrete stairs, sliding my phone into my pocket as I entered the doors.
I glanced around. Holy shit, this place is a lot more bigger than I thought.
I walked around, trying to figure out where to go. I started to get a bit anxious. For one, I had no idea what was going on. I fiddled with my fingers as I walked. My head bumped into something, something hard. I fell backwards, letting out a yelp as I did so.
My back hit the floor, creating a loud thud. Shit..that hurt. I sat up a bit, rubbing my back with my hand.
"Watch where you're going, jackass." I heard someone say. A guy, with a deep, and semi-raspy voice. He sounded irritated, intimidating.
I glanced up.
