Keith POV
I jogged down the tracks of the gym, glancing around as I did so. Nobody here seemed to be familiar at all. Well, except for Pico of course. That's when I noticed that girl from lunch. Girlfriend! She was nearby, so I slowed down a bit that way I could catch up to her, or, so she could catch up to me? Same difference.
I finally was able to reach her side. She seemed to notice me, too, since her expression said that she was excited to see me.
"Hey, Keith! How are you doing?" She said, panting in between words. "Good, how about you?" I responded. She shrugged. "I'm doing okay." She gave a smile.
She glanced somewhere far away, then back at me. "Do you know Pico?" She asked, making my heart skip a beat. For some odd reason, even just hearing his name makes me nervous. After a pause, I nodded. "Yeah. Yes, I do. I mean, Im not too fond of him though." I added on.
She seemed to understand. "Me neither. Honestly, he can be a jerk." She took her eyes off of me. "But he is an childhood friend. You should have seen him when he was little." She chuckled at the last part.
I imagined a little Pico, making me laugh to myself as well. It also made me remember when I was little. Oh, my innocent, young soul. How fast time goes by.
I stretched, cracking my knuckles at the same time. I felt a bit exhausted from the running. I yawned, placing my hands on my knees. My eyes caught one of the gigantic clocks, hung up on the wall.
1:00.
Time to say goodbye Ig.
I got to hurry my ass up. I walked around at a fast pace, searching for a sign that said 'restrooms.' Finally, I found the men's restroom around the corner. And so, I stepped inside.
