"Can I take him somewhere today?" Taehyung asks as he feeds Yeonjun on his lap. Yeonjun is still overly clingy towards Taehyung and definitely acting like a spoiled brat, but Jungkook isn't scolding him because he knows that he must have been longing for his father for such a long time. He can excuse his spoiled acts for now. Yeonjun is a kind boy. He loves affection so it's not a surprise that he's clinging onto Taehyung the entire day.
"Sure, you can spend as much time with him as you want. I have work today anyway so it would make me feel at ease to know that you're taking care of him."
Taehyung grins and leans in to kiss Jungkook's lips briefly. "Thanks, babe. I'll pick you up as soon as you're done with work. Take some time off again soon so we can all spend time together."
"Okay." Jungkook giggles, watching Taehyung and Yeonjun fondly.
It was just so easy.
Taehyung came back and molded himself into the gap of Jungkook and Yeonjun's lives, and now he feels like family. He's been gone for such a long time but it's so easy for him to be a part of the family. Well, maybe he's always been a part of it. Not physically, but he's always been there.
Jungkook lends Taehyung his clothes because he didn't get the chance to go back to the hotel he's staying in since he slept over last night.
They dressed Yeonjun up to prepare him for the day out, and Jungkook doesn't think he has ever seen Yeonjun so happy. He's giggling and running around the place, convincing Taehyung to play with him already.
"Kookie, are you ready? I'll drop you off at the studio before going to the park with Yeonjun."
"Yeah, hold on just let me get my bag." Jungkook then grabs his bag quickly and runs off in Taehyung and Yeonjun's direction, accepting the hand Yeonjun is offering him. His son is so cute, isn't he? He even likes holding hands too!
And so they all walk towards the car, with Yeonjun between them and holding both of their hands – yeah, this definitely feels like family.

Taehyung took a month off work to spend more time with Jungkook and Yeonjun. He's staying in the apartment next-door (which looks kind of awkward since Taehyung is a worldwide star and seeing him in such a small and old apartment just doesn't look natural), just so he can visit the two every single day.
It has become a routine. Every single morning, Taehyung would knock on their door and Yeonjun would open it excitedly because he is excited to see his father again and he just knows that Taehyung bought another gift for him. Taehyung loves spoiling Yeonjun with gifts and Jungkook tried to tell Taehyung not to spoil Yeonjun so much, Taehyung insists that he's just making it up to Yeonjun so he's very excited to give him a lot of things that he didn't get to give him before.
And Jungkook allows him. Because he's always been soft for Taehyung, and well, he's really soft for Yeonjun too even if he's the stricter father.
Taehyung eats his meals with them. Sometimes, he would cook and impress Jungkook because Taehyung has never been into cooking before. He must have tried to learn on his own ever since Jungkook left, and although that thought still makes Jungkook feel bad, he's trying not to dwell on it too much. Sometimes, Jungkook would cook for them while Taehyung and Yeonjun are running around the room, with Yeonjun pretending to be a superhero who can fly, and Taehyung indulges by letting Yeonjun sit on his shoulders and running around, just happy to hear his son's laughter. Sometimes, they would opt for food delivery when they're both too tired after a day of work and playing with Yeonjun. They would just cuddle on the couch and watch movies as they wait for the food, and Jungkook found so much happiness in such simple things.
