It been a week since I caged Pete. He have tried to escape multiple time but failed. He would refuse to eat and yelled at me to let him go. When it doesn't work he would cry and beg me to let him go.
"Vegas Please, let me go" he begged.
"No" I replied coldly.
"why? Why are you doing this?" "Why can't you let me go? Why can't you let me be happy?" he yelled at me.
*knock* It was my assistance knocking on the door. "What it is?" I asked.
"Sir, there is an importance meeting that your father would like you to attend because he is busy at the moment" he informed me.
I didn't want to leave, who know what Pete will do when I am gone. But I have no choice I guess.
"Okay, I will come in a minute" I replied.
"yes sir" then he went down.
"Pete I will be gone for a few hour, be good and eat your food" I told Pete. Pete glared at me and then turned away.
I arrived at the company and attended the meeting then I talk with the investor and sign the contract.
"It a pleasure working with you" Time said after signing the contract.
"the pleasure is mine"
"Oh btw I heard for Tay that you took our child to the hospital while I was away. Thank you for that" He thanked me.
"No problem, Tay is my friend after all" I replied.
"Why don't we grab some lunch together?" Time suggested.
"I would love to but I got to get back to my wife" I answered.
"Oh Pete? How is he? I heard he got a miscarriage"
"he is fine now, but he is still mad at me" I answered honestly.
"Just buy him so gift and tell him how sorry you are and show him you change then he will forgave you" Time said.
"it that how you got Tay forgiveness?" I asked.
"No quite" he said.
I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Why don't we grab a drink and I will tell you all about it?" He suggested.
I agreed since I though maybe I could used his way to get Pete forgive me.

so this chapter is a half chapter, it is short I know, sorry about that.
