A week have pass since they meet. Pete and Vegas have talk thing out, there were many emotion in the conversation but in the end Pete agree to let Vegas see Paris. Vegas tried to persuade Pete to come back but Pete stood by his word.
Now you may thing that, time will do it thing and they will be together again but no. You see, Vegas still have a rival - Big. Since Pete work at Big's cafe , they spend a lots of time together and Vegas this not like it.
Vegas tried to convince Pete to quit working there but Pete didn't budge.
As Vegas prove to Pete how much he have change and how much he love the both of them, Pete slowly become to trust Vegas. They would sometime go out as an family.
"Here let me help you" Big took Pete hand and show him how to make the drink. Vegas who was sitting at the corner, see everything and was glaring at Big.
Vegas pov:
That bastard! He is doing this on purpose. If it weren't for Pete, that guy would be dead by now. "Papa" Paris came running toward me. "Yes dear?"
"I want to go out" She said.
"To where?"
"Outside, I am bored" She said.
"Okay go ask your mother" I said. "Mama said we can go after he finish working" She said looking down.
"Then I am afraid I cannot go out with you dear" I patted her head.
"Papa pleaseeee I'm bored" she said pulling me. "Okay" I give in.
"Let me tell your mama first" I told her and she nodded.
"Pete, I am going take Paris out" I told him. "Okay , look after her carefully" He replied.
"I will" I said.
I took Paris out to a Park and we played. After that we went shopping for my plan.
In the evening, Pete got out of work and I offered to drop him at their house, and he agreed.
"Where is Paris?" He asked. " She is with Nop, they are playing together" I replied.
"I see. What did you guys do?" He asked. I was happy that she asked, it mean she started caring for me again. I told her all about what we did and left out the shopping part.
"Where are we going?" he asked when he realise that it was the way to my house. "I have a surprise for you" I replied.
"What surprise?"
"You will know when you get there" I replied.
Pete pov:
He took us to the beach. "Why are we here?" I asked. "Pete take a walk with me please." he said. I agreed.
"Pete" he stopped walking and turned to me. "I am sorry" he said. "Vegas don-" He cut me off.
"No"
"Pete I am sorry. I was an horrible husband, I never look after, care about you and put other before you. I am sorry for coming home late. I am sorry I never went to the doctor appointment with you. I am sorry I hit you that day, it was my fault that we lost the baby, our first child " He got on his knee hugging me, crying while apologizing.
"I am sorry for everything Pete, I know you are mad at me and you hate me. But please give me a chance. I want to a part of our daughter life. I want to rise her together with you. I have change and I swear I will never made you mad or angry. I love you Pete" tear were coming out of his eye. I have never see him like this. I don't know what to do. Paris love him and she deserve to have both of her parent in her life.
"Vegas" I touched his face. " I know you are sorry and I forgive you. I do want you to be part of Paris life but I don't know about getting back together with you." I told him.
"It's okay, you can take your time. Thank you for letting me in Paris life" he kiss my hand and smiled at me.
