Your e/c eyes scanned the smaller hand-made board you created. A black and white photo of Griffin smiling was pinned against the board with a bright red string attached to the pin.

A picture of Billy was, too, pinned to the board with his sweet signature smile placed on. You had gotten these photos from the missing posters placed all around the town.

You were sitting at your desk, clicking the pen that was in your grasp repeatedly. Biting your lip, you scribble down the dates of when Billy and Griffin went missing on two pieces of sticky notes before placing them next to each boy.

"Billy where are you..." You mumbled sadly, looking at the smiling picture of Billy. Suddenly a loud knock was heard at your door as you scrambled up. Hiding most of the board, you straighten up before opening your slightly parched lips.

"Come in!" You called out, watching the door open. Your father walked in, a smile placing itself onto his lips once his E/c eyes landed on you. "Hey sorry to bother you," Your father spoke softly,"But someone is at the door for you."

"Oh, thank you for telling me,"You spoke, puzzled,"I'll come out in a sec." Your father nodded before closing the door.

Sighing, you turn back to your stuff, picking it all up before shoving it under your bed. You walked out of your room, closing the door. You could see someone standing in the front doorway of you and your father's house. It's Finney.

Your father is sitting on the couch, reading the newspaper while sipping his steamy coffee. You sent a smile to Finney once you approached the door. "Hey Finney. What brings you here?" You question, raising a brow. Finney awkwardly smiled.

"I'm sorry if I'm bothering you," He mumbled apologetically,"But I wanted to see if you'd like to have lunch with me?"

Your smile widened at that as you nodded. "Sure." Finney smiled brightly at your response. "Hey dad, I'm hanging out with Finney, I'll be back later." You called out to your father, who looked up from his newspaper.

"Sure, just make sure you come home." Your father replied, going back to reading. You stepped outside next to Finney, closing the front door. You turned towards the boy.

"So where are we going to eat?" You asked.

"Um, there's this new fast food restaurant just right around the block." Finney replied, pointing in the direction of the restaurant. You nodded, smiling.

"Sounds good."

The two of you began walking in silence, a peaceful silence. Every few seconds, Finney would glance at you with blush dusting his cheeks. Finney hesitantly guided his hand towards yours, trying to build up the confidence.

Slowly and gently, he slipped his hand into yours. You slightly jump at first but felt your cheeks heat up upon realizing Finney is holding your hand.

A smile placed itself onto your lips as you and Finney continued to walk hand in hand. You swung you and Finney's arm back and forth playfully, as you let out small giggles, causing Finney's face to go a deeper shade of pink.

Soon enough, the new restaurant came into view. Once the two of you were in front of the glass door, the entrance to the restaurant, Finney held the door wide open for you.
